It isnt that hard.
You just have to know what are essentials parts of a pc abd witch parts are optional.
In addition you must pay attention to the sockets.. Not that you buy some old as shit cpu or ram and a new mainboard
At least required:
HDD
RAM
Mainboard (with gpu chip)
Power supply
CPU
Depending on what you want you add now some shit:
SSD
Graphic Card
If not on board maybe a raid controller
And so on..
