Since googling has not worked, here I am. I have cable internet, and there's a plug with a female end in my living room that my modem connects with, however in my bedroom there's only a male end that doesn't work, I get no connection. What do? I pay for 100 mb/s and get crap with the wifi sometimes. Pic attached is connection in bedroom.
bumping for help

>100 mb/s
you mean megabits?
It could be your modem/router bottle capping your speed. see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Very-high-bit-rate_digital_subscriber_line
you might need to get a vdsl2 modem/router to get full speed

It's not real clear to me what the nature of the problem is here.
Does your Internet just not work? Are you trying to move your cable modem to your bedroom? Does the wifi not work in your bedroom? More context information needed.
You have to give us more details anon. You sure that is your cable internet cable or simply a RF connection to an outdoor TV antenna?

>the picture is your coax cable, that goes into your modem coax port
>what has been done so far? has anything been moved or unplugged?
>what is the status of the leds on the modem? are any red?
>have you reboot or power cycled any devices?
