I don't remember how the software was called, but they do work to an extent for some people.
Personally it made me move my arms and legs muscles involuntarily, like giving small kicks or scratching the floor, maybe laughing from time to time, but no afterefect, it's just a trip while hearing the song, then everything comes back to normal, I think is more of a thing to do with friends or to record to have a few laughs.
Didn't do much reading into it myself since I'm a bit skeptical, but there is this. It's basically using RGB LEDs in glasses to somehow affect your brain or something.
