All you have to do is look on MAL to see the subgroups it has. Or even just search Akagi on Nyaa. There are two releases: Triad and Taedium. Taedium just uses Triad's subs on the DVD raws instead of TV, so it's basically the best one.

And, having watched those subs and somehow being able to understand Mahjong, I can say that they were pretty effective. I think knowing Mahjong well would improve the experience greatly though.

I don't think webm for retards is that powerful. I do know it is a simple, limited frontend for ffmpeg though, so just use ffmpeg straight. To retain 60fps, you use something like this:

ffmpeg -r 60 -i "/path/to/source.mp4" -c:v libvpx -qmin X -qmax Y -c:a libvorbis -qscale:a Z -r 60 "path/to/output.webm"

-r is the framerate (twice, before and after the source, to force the framerate on both the input and output)
-c:v is the video codec (libvpx for vp8 webm)
-qmin and -qmax define the video quality. I'll explain them after this.
-c:a is the audio codec (libvorbis for ogg, which is what webm uses)
-qscale:a defines the audio quality. I'll explain after this.
The output has no prefix.

X, Y and Z are quality values.
X and Y, for the video quality (-qmin and -qmax), should be between 0 and 63, with 0 being the best quality with the biggest filesize and 63 being the worst quality with the smallest filesize. Play with them.
Z, for the audio quality (-qscale:a) should be between 1 and 10, with 1 being the poorest quality with smallest filesize and 10 the best quality with the biggest filesize.

If you need to scale the source, add this somewhere after the input path and before the output path:
-vf scale=W:H

Where W is the width you want and H is the height you want. If you want ffmpeg to guess one from the other, put a -1 in the one you want (ie for whatever width goes with a 480p height, you do -vf scale=-1:480).

There is no torrent I can find. There was a lawsuit against the documentary by John Casablancas and Elite Modeling because they said the editing made them look bad. Meanwhile, if you watch his own recent documentary it's just him narrating his own life about how great it was for him to be in charge of a child sex ring. He bashes the the show I'm trying to find, and am apparently banned from seeing.

I think you're confused about PVR addons: they're for driving a TV card your PC has installed. I set one up with (IIRC) MythTV, and it was a total saga, but apparently the newest release* has made it a lot less like jamming your balls in a filing cabinet.

* never run a x.x.0 of XBMC: no-one tests the betas or release candidates, so x.0.0 is effectively the first beta.

if you're having interference, which is pretty common yes, you can help get around it by switching to a less occupied channel
go into your router's menu and fuck around with which channel it uses. usually this can help if you find a less occupied channel. There should be like 12 of them.
the better solution would be to switch both your router and your receiver to a 5ghz channel, which are much less common and therefore much less occupied
in the meantime move closer to your router

if you don't have control over your router your only choice will be to complain to your isp.

I have read about changing the channel. But unfortunately, I don't own the router. I'm paying xfinity to use their hotspot, but the signal is from neighboring routers. I can't really know which one specifically, since I live in an apartment building with many different router signals.

I tried complaining to xfinity. But they basically explained how it's out of their hands. Basically, they told me the signal can be interrupted by pretty much anything. A microwave, a phone, or even a book set atop the router. Lame.

I'm going to try changing my receiver's channel. But I'm not quite sure how to do that. Guess I'll google it.

that's not how it works. It's just the broadcasting radio's channel that matters.
