How do I square a large bracket in Equation mode in Microsoft Word?

If I insert the bracket first then the exponent it expects a new value after the bracket but before the exponent.
If I insert the bracket after the equation it expects a new value inside the bracket between the fraction and the bracket.

The only way I can exponent a bracket is to use small brackets which looks terrible when using fractions. Surely there's a way to do this.

You could try using the math input panel, a windows default program that lets you draw the equation and paste it in word. It can be obnoxious to use sometimes but it could solve the issue here.

I can usually eat or drink milk but every once in a while I will buy a gallon of milk that I am unable to drink. I am not lactose intolerant and I seem to be the only one that detects the foul taste as my girlfriend cannot nor a few of my friends. Does anyone else experience this or am I just insane. Also if there is a better board to put this on please direct me.
