Take 2: Can someone recommend some anime to watch. Last I've watched were Dusk Maiden of Amnesia and Another. Loved both very, very much so are there any similar to those two?
>>288690
You should watch Ghost Hunt.

Is anyone here good at game theory? I'm having a lot of trouble with this shit since it's been a couple years since I did calculus and I'm not super great at theoretical economics and stuff either. Question is pic related, it's a cournot problem and I could really use some help.
I would plug in all possible values of y1 and y2 to get the payoffs, and then make a payoff table. After that, you can apply the definition of a Nash equilibrium.
>>288676
all possible payoffs are infinite since it's all real numbers between 1 and 2
Oh, I misread it. For (a,b) to be a Nash equilibrium, y1=a must be a maximum of Pi1 if you fix y2 as b, and y2=b must be a maximum of Pi2 if you fix y1 as a.
To find the maximum of a function, you take the derivative of each firm's profits in respect to their outputs. A function is at is maximum only if the derivative is 0 or undefined, so compare all the values at the endpoint and places where derivative is 0. There might be more complications, but I think that's the basic idea.
so i did this in word how do I undo it? It doesn't work with the normal undo buttong I need help fast. You can tell me in english
Try pressing Ctrl+Shift+8
It's paragraph spacing formatting in Word

thanks
>>288598
You could also just keep it.
The symbol is not printed, it is just an indicator for easier visibility of spacing in the original document.
Can someone make me a gif of the ginger turning to face the camera? Thanks

I'm an imbecile.
I built a computer and purchased and installed Windows 10 64 bit and it, I believe, is the cause of a host of problems. I want to run Windows 7 instead. Am I able to install Windows 7 and use the Windows 10 key? Otherwise, am I able to purchase a legitimate Windows 7 disk and key despite 8 and 10 taking over?
In case you're receptive, the problems include random restarting, at least every 2 hours and more often usually, as well as less common crashing and blue screening. I don't think it's hardware related.
>>288534
I can't say for sure whether it's the OS' fault, but I have Windows 10 installed and I do not have those problems.
>>288537
I've spent a day or two troubleshooting it and I've made no progress, no matter what software I'm running after reinstalling windows.
So, I'm resorting to Windows 7, hopefully.
>I built a computer
>purchased and installed Windows 10 64 bit
>problems include random restarting
>crashing and blue screening
its probably a problem with the drivers for the hardware you installed. after installing the drivers that came with the hardware, go into the device manager and do an update driver for each piece of hardware you put in to get the latest/correct driver from microsoft.
>Am I able to install Windows 7 and use the Windows 10 key?
no
>Otherwise, am I able to purchase a legitimate Windows 7 disk and key
probably won't fine a legit install/lkey now.
Need help identifying this. Reverse searching and whatanime.ga failed me

Looks like the monogatari franchise, but I haven't seen any of it so I can't be of more help.
>>288441

definetly monogatari, pretty sure this scene is from season 2 or 3.
does anyone know the easiest way to make easily burning stuff at home?
Flame or spark and something dry and flammable easily burns anywhere.
>>288407
Dissolve styrofoam into gasoline
>>288434
Don't do this OP. That's how you make what is essentially napalm.
Didnt see a thread on /ic/ for this so i decided to come here. so i recently purchased a wacom medium pro and currently have no good software for it other then photoshop elements 12, any thoughts on 2d animation software and art software that are good?
Get yourself a Clip Studio Paint Pro (or EX but that's optimally for manga making iirc). You could buy it (wait for sale) or you could just youtube it up for cracked version. I have it and it's really awesome.[/shilling]
>>288436
Does that mean EX has all the same features of Pro, or is Pro the 'bigger' one?
I dl'ed EX a while back, but haven't gotten around to installing it.
not op btw
>>288448
EX is the bigger one (priciest too). I only have Pro because I don't do manga (it has basic features of it).
Basically,
>Pro for illustrations and 2d animation
>EX for all of the above and manga
The new updates are sweet, you can download assets (brushes, 3d materials, etc) uploaded by others for free.

If someone could look at this and tell me if there's any bottlenecks/compatibility problems it would be greatly appreciated.
>>288372
This is a joke, right?
>>288372
Looks fine. Might be able to get a better GPU for price/cost, but it looks fine.
I'm not going to do the math, but I don't think you need a 650 watt PSU.
Cut whatever else you have to in this build or your life and get a SSD

So, earlier I bought new RAM to install inside my pc. When I installed it and boot up the pc, it just goes into an infinite black screen. I tried putting back the old ram to see, and same issue. So right now, I can't boot up windows or anything
I can Access BIOS tho, tried setting it to XMP, reset the CMOS, made sure the RAMs are well place and clipped. I'm out of ideas. help?
My specs:
Motherboard is Asus P8Z77-V LX
New Ram was Corsair Vengeance Black DDR3 1600MHz 16GB Kit (2x8GB) CL9 1.5V CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9
Old ram was Ballistix DDR3 1600 MHz 8gb 1.5V
Am I fucked? I'm opened to ideas.
Pic related, the new rams
Mem-ok didn't work?
If your hdd are detected by bios then theres no issue with the ram, the issue is with possibly the bootloader or possibly the os install became corrupt. boot from the arch linux iso and run "lsblk" then run "df -h" and post the output of both.
>>288210
No i tried with both old and new ram. Gave me this screen for the old one. Dunno if i should chane shit in settings
can someone recommend me a monitor?
it'll just be for playing games on my console, so im looking for fast response time/low input lag
bamp
How much are you willing to spend though?
>>288290
oh yea
preferably under 200
i can do 300 tho
also are 27" monitors worth it?
I have a secondary PC in my bedroom and I'd like to replace the aging GPU.
It currently uses a gtx 650 ti and it's fine for most games I play but it does tend to get a little noisy for the bedroom. Doesn't bother me but the wife complains and i cant exactly tell her to gtfo.
So I'm basically wondering if there are any PASSIVELY cooled cards which would have better performance for under 100 bucks?
Not sure if this is the right board for this question.
Passively cooled video cards exist, but they are quite rare. Video cards with a modest fan are more common, but odds are you already have one of those (most models of the gtx 650 ti seem to have a fairly modest fan) and it is not satisfactory.
The Palit KalmX series is a set of passively cooled cards; it contains (at least) a gtx 750 ti version, which is a slight downgrade over the gtx 650 ti, and a gtx 1050 ti version which is a modest upgrade. I don't think they fit your budget though.
>Doesn't bother me but the wife complains and i cant exactly tell her to gtfo.
I imagine they are only loud while you are actually playing, right? Modern cards should be silent or nearly so as long as they are not in use.
Thanks man, i figured the kalmx was the best bet. It's not so much that it's out of my price range, more that i cant justify spending that amount on a gpu for a pc that may see 3-5 hours a week of gaming. I suppose I can sell the 650 to bring the overall cost to just over 100.
>>288119
>a gtx 1050 ti version which is a modest upgrade
I'm not sure "twice as fast" is "a modest upgrade".
