What is it from?
I'm a 2d animator and i wanna make a new youtube serie. The cartoon must be funny, nonsense and maybe a bit politically incorrect. References: rick & morty, beavis & butthead, south park, simpson, family guy.
Any idea?
>>309860
How about you make it about an stoneer
Lazy teenage angel and his brother a serious demon that can be a car salesman or whatever

That would be a cool idea for the charachters, what about their story and their objectives?
Please, someone help me.
How long are the sides of the trapeze?
What is the area?
>>309828
Undeterminable, because nothing constrains BC and AE from being two thousand lightyears long.
Are you sure you copied is all down properly?
This is what I got, not sure if I understood the dimensions though.
Circle diameter is 4 cm because the trapeze is supposed to be isosceles.
I recently uploaded the wrong problem.
How to solve this?
I am 99% confused right now.
I suppose I have to multiply the left most fraction by 2.
Then
>2x - 10 - x -5 / 2x^2 - 10x = ......
I get
>(x-15) / (2x^2-10x) = (x+25) / (2x^2-50)
When I move the right fraction to left side, do I add minus sign in front of it?
(x-15) * (2x^2-50) / (2x^2-10) * (x-25)
Anyone here know much about java? Doing a project for uni where im creating a chat client and server and ive run into a problem where after the user enters their password and username and click ok it throws an exception. The problem is when i use
ChatClient01 chat = new ChatClient01(); chat.setVisable(true);
it tells me to add a method in the chatclient class which i do like this
void setVisable(boolean b) {
show(b);
}
but im getting a red line under show(b) even though im using this approach in a diffrenet class and its working fine. Any help would be appreciated.
the show needs to reference the chat class somehow. If it's a function defined in the ChatClient class, maybe self.show(b)?

Help me solve this.
So, I need to make an MySQL query of one table containing the `index`, data `id`, data id `parent`, when the data was `inserted_on`, and when it was `updated_on`. The table is self-contained, both <parent> and <children> is determined by it's `parent` value, and the `updated_on` value is determined by the last record of a <children> it has. And the result must have an index to sort the data based on the `updated_on` value.
In short, updated_on = children_count > 0 ? last_children_inserted_on : self_inserted_on.
>Sample table:
[ id | parent | inserted_on | data | updated_on ],
[ 1 | 0 | 2017-05-04 09:29:37 | data | ],
[ 2 | 1 | 2017-05-04 16:00:45 | data | ],
[ 3 | 0 | 2017-05-04 16:01:13 | data | ],
[ 4 | 1 | 2017-05-04 16:28:09 | data | ],
[ 5 | 0 | 2017-05-04 16:28:11 | data | ],
[ 6 | 1 | 2017-05-04 16:28:18 | data | ],
[ 7 | 5 | 2017-05-04 16:28:23 | data | ],
[ 8 | 1 | 2017-05-04 16:28:32 | data | ],
[ 9 | 3 | 2017-05-04 16:28:39 | data | ],
[ 10 | 0 | 2017-05-04 16:28:41 | data | ]
>Result I expect
[ index | id | parent | inserted_on | data | updated_on DESC ],
[ 1 | 10 | 0 | 2017-05-04 16:28:41 | data | 2017-05-04 16:28:41 ],
[ 2 | 3 | 0 | 2017-05-04 16:01:13 | data | 2017-05-04 16:28:39 ],
[ 3 | 1 | 0 | 2017-05-04 09:29:37 | data | 2017-05-04 16:28:32 ],

`posts`.`parent` = '0' AND `timestamps`.`parent` = `posts`.`id`

[ 3 | 5 | 0 | 2017-05-04 16:28:11 | data | 2017-05-04 16:28:23 ]
Why does the `index` got jumbled? Where did I get it wrong?
Is there better way to achieve result I seek?
>>309643
Use a subquery.
You're adding your index* before ORDER BY orders them.
* please don't call it that: indices are already a thing in SQL.
>>309643
Also you know GROUP BY is a thing, right?
JoJo pretty much spoiled me in terms of action anime. I can't find enjoyment in those anymore unless they're as stylish, over the top, funny, and creative as JoJo is.
I tried some anime that people generally recommend as "similar to JoJo" but none of them clicked with me.
I tried Gurren Lagann, but the action was super lackluster.
I tried Hokuto no Ken, but it was boring because it seemed like JoJo, minus all the humor and charm (and yes, I know it's a completely ass-backwards comparison since HnK was first, but fuck it).
I tried Kill La Kill, but the weirdly bad, budget animation turned me right the fuck off.
I tried HxH, but it was just another generic shonen.
Basically the only action show that managed to entertain me since I watched JoJo was New Getter Robo because it was pretty much equal to JoJo in terms of over the top stupidity and constant, unstoppable hype.
Seriously, where do I go from there? What do I watch? Help me guise.
>>309642
Kekkai Sensen is quite stylish, over the top, and funny. Though it's not like Jojo.
>>309642
>Anime only faggot
Read the manga.
Then you have 7 full parts and 1 still being written
instead of the 4 that they animated.
>>309646
I mean I could, but the lack of color in the manga kinda destroys the experience for me. JoJo really looks gorgeous with all the color play and artistic filters DP adds to the sequences.

I'm looking for an image that's incredibly similar to pic related.
It's a white character looking at his monitor in shock, whilst standing up quickly and knocking over the chair he was sitting on.
I'm sorry that you have to bare witness to the worst Paint creation in history.
that's actually a really good recretion of the picture.

Thank you. Since it seems you know which image I'm talking about, I guess my Paint creation is only the second worst in history.

Yes I do. Seen it a million times, but I am pretty sure I did not save THAT one.
If I use an HDMI to RCA converter to record from my PC to a VHS tape will there be any issues?
I got a VGA to RCA converter but my computer always had problems with it for some reason.
I've tried putting videos on DVDs to transfer them but the audio always gets desynched for some reason.
>>309550
You have to emit the correct type of composite video. Most TVs will happily autodetect between NTSC, PAL, SEECAM, and PAL60, but your VCR is physically incapable of recording at the wrong framerate, however will still transparently write whatever colour standard you feed it, meaning you can feed PAL60 into an NTSC VCR and it will write a PAL60 tape that plays in monochrome on any TV that doesn't understand PAL60.
I would recommend getting an original Xbox, softmodding it, and using XBMC to play your video directly to the VCR in RGB, S-video or composite. I have successfully written tapes in this way.
>>309550
Depends on the computer, the system and the converter.
Shocker, isn't it?
Obviously those things *SHOULD* work, otherwise it is not the normal case and a problem occured, but this one then is as specific as any other problem.
Just judgin by what should be done it *SHOULD* not be a problem, downscaling is not a big thing for a converter and the VCR will just use this signal like any other, if it worked before then there is no reason it should not work then, for it the whole converter- PC chain is just a black box that sends a classic SDTV signal it can work with.

Why even write this?
Hey trigonometry idiot again.
This time I'm having trouble understanding how this:
3.1 (5π/3)
Becomes this: 31π/6
I've typed it into mathway, but mathway comes up with a different answer each time. I also don't know what to call this kind of operation, so I'm at a loss for google terms. If you know how to help me understand this, then I would greatly appreciate your assistance.
Please, and thank you in advance.
>>309512
That's just multiplication.
Substitute x for pi and you'll see:
3.1(5x/3)
=3.1(10x/6)
=(3.1*10)(x/6)
=31x/6
As this works in the general case, obviously it must also work when x equals pi.
>>309518
Thanks for the response. I apologize in advance for my slowness
Why did
3.1 (5x/3) become
3.1(10x/6)?
Why did it get multiplied by 2?
>>309528
Whenever you like you can multiply the top and the bottom of a fraction by the same number:
1/2=2/4=609/1218
I imagine the reason for the move from y/3 to y/6 is because 31x/6=16.5x/3, and mixing fractions and decimals is poor form.
You could also go
3.1(5x/3)
=15.5x/3
=31x/6
Instead of getting insurance I'm just going to order some basic generic meds, and I want to have a list of sites incase I get pneumonia or something like that.
First is this legal to do? And if so what sites would I want to visit?
Bump. Just to clarify I'm only talking about legal medicine. The only site I know about so far is All Day Chemist
>is this legal to do?
where do you live? ordering prescription meds without a prescription is generally illegal.
>>309511
>basic meds
>pneumonia
famicom, pneumonia meds are not basic anymore, so kick the
>I'm only talking about legal medicine
out.
>Is it legal?
No, as you get prescription meds without presription but who really cares.
The bigger problem is that sites where you get those things just like that are shady, and with those sites it is not guaranteed that they contain what it says on the package.
Don't assume that there is any honor in those online meds distributors, they color whateer substance is currently lying around so it looks like original substance and push it into pills.
who is this character? what is she from?
