I'm stuck on the problem in my linear algebra task. I've spent the whole fucking day with it and can't figure out which way to go.

Let f: R^m -> R^n be the mapping defined by differentiable functions f_i, which are, in general, nonlinear and map zero to zero:
F(x_1, ..., x_m) = (..., f_i (x_1, ..., x_m), ...), i = { 1, ..., n}, f_i (0, ..., 0) = 0.
A linear map df_0: R ^ m -> R ^ n, is called the differential of f at the point 0 and given by the formula on OP pic. {e_j}, {(e_i)'} are standard bases in R^m and R^n, respectively. I must show that if I replace the bases in both spaces and compute df_0 by the same formulas in other bases, then the new linear map df_0 coincides with the old one.

How can I possibly solve this?

My most recent comics binge has been cockblocked. Just finished The Books of Magic series, anybody got a link to where I can read Hunter: The Age of Magic online for free or download it? The site I used for the other one mysteriously lost it's copy.

Also if anyone's got a copy of the 4-issue Books of Magic miniseries from before the series, that would be great too

i'm trying to simulate an N-Mosfet in Comsol multiphysics (for personal education reasons) following some tutorials i found available. When i do it with silicon substrate, the graph i get for Vg vs Id is 'silicon.png" and can clearly see the turn on voltage is 1.2V as expected.
I changed the material out of curiosity to Galium Arsenide and the plot i get is "GaAs.png' with a turn on voltage around 2.2 V BUT with negative current.

I do the sweep for a Vd of 0.01V and Vg 0 to 4V with a step of 0.2V. I gave negative Vg values to see if it changes(-4:0.2:4 V) but still remains at ~0A until the 2.2V point.

Does the negative current indicate that the n-mosfet is reversed bias for that material or is it something else?
