Hey /wsr/,

I have a Dell Inspiron that has two hard drives: an SSD and a SATA. I took the SSD out because Windows 10 crashed and probably ruined one of the partitions. I'm going to try to fix it.

In the meanwhile, I'm trying to load Windows 10 via a boot USB on my SATA so I can at least use the computer while I try to get files off my SSD.

However, it never reads my USB at start up. I went into the BIOS and turned off secure boot and changed it to legacy. I marked the USB as top priority. Still, it's not taking me to the Windows 10 install screen.

Is there something else I have to do? I appreciate any advice or help.

I'm trying to record to an mp3 file with a piano, but everytime I try to start a specific point, I don't get any audio. This is how my "setup" looks like.

Big Money is the mp3 file.
For example, say I want to start the mp3 at 0:30. If I fastforward to 0:30, I'll only hear what I've recorded and not the audio file. Is there a way around this?

I have to prepare an answer to a question for an university assignment. It's about stream processing (a topic I'm not completly clueless), but what makes this difficult for me is the fact that it's about stream processing parallelization. This is the exact question:

A key mechanism to horizontally scale stream processing topologies is auto-parallelization, i.e., identifying regions in the data
flow that can be executed in parallel, potentially on different machines. How do key based aggregations, windows or other stateful operators affect parallelization? What challenges arise when scaling out such operators?

Has someone more experienced with stream processing an answer?

Does anyone know where this page is from? The art style is very familiar, scratching at the edge of my mind. It's been bothering me all day and none of the reverse image search sites are coming up with anything.
Failing that, does anyone recognize the artist? The face on the right is what originally caught my eye. Is dark iris with white pupil a distinctive art style of anyone in particular?
