So my computer has recently been crashing a lot particularly while playing higher end games. I just installed a Samsung 850 evo SSD and migrated windows to it. I think this issue happened once or twice before this, but I can't be certain.

When it crashes it goes to just a straight black screen, the audio lags. The computer stays powered indefinitely. I turn it off by holding power button and then if i try turning on within say 10-15s it turns on in the errored mode. I'm 99% sure it isn't overheating.

I have a AMD 8320 board and a AMD r9 280 graphics card. The power supply is very old and could be connected to the issue.

The strangest thing is that when I turn the computer back on and look at the event log, it says (for example) "The previous system shutdown at 9:55:13 PM on 7/10/2017 was unexpected." whereas in fact the shut down was at 22:36PM ish and there are no events in between those times.

I'd love any thoughts, suggestions and can provide further info. Thanks!!

Hey so I bought a USB wifi adapter, pic related it's that one, and it's being fucky. Whenever I download anything, watch youtube, or play vidya online, it causes a bsod.

I've already done a million things it feels like. The dump files point to a driver which I made sure was updated and it still causes bsods. I checked for a bios update but there was none. I went through device manager and updated all the usb related drivers. I downgraded my os from Windows 10 to 7 with all the updates. I tried an Ethernet cord and that works fine.

At this point I'm guessing it's doa honestly.

Any suggestions?

Hello /wsr/! I was hoping you guys could help me with a search for something.
No it's not a source request.
A friend of mine is calling me ignorant and privileged due to the fact I'm defending a police officers decision on opening fire on a woman.

Hey /wsr/, I'm in need of some help.

I have a razer chimaera 360 version (I use it on my pc) and their batteries are starting to die. It uses 2 AAA battery, the only thing I don't know is the type of battery (NiMH or lithium).

Can you guys tell me what is the kind of battery it uses?

Also, I for my research, the lithium batteries are the "better" ones. But I couldn't find the AAA rechargeable version of it, if possible, can you link me to that?

And at last the mAh, there is some NiMH with 300mAh, and others with 680mAh, what this number means and which is better for my headset?

can someone recommend me a battle shonen type shows were the protagonist(s) start there training later on in life rather than earlier? I'm aware that havng kids as the mains is good storytelling wise for a myriad of reasons but i would like to see if it could be done with older people, i would like to see how that would change the dynamic.
