how should i clean a leather sofa that has developed a mildewy odor? leather seems to be a little touchy

Sounds you brought in a barn find.

If it's real leather it's not difficult to clean, just use designated products. There are even YT videos to give advice on them.

If the odor puffs out when you sit on it you may have something going on inside the paddings. I have found dead rats, snakes and insect colonies inside furniture fillings. Also mildew.

t. amateur but avid furniture restorer.

Ok, then just clean it with leather cleaning stuff. Really no brainer, just use right products. You could visit a furniture store where they often sell those cleaning kits. Probably not a surprise but The most asked question about leather sofas is how to clean them.

Nothing on danbooru or any other similar site either. I tried searching similar and it turned up nothing, and it either lacks any tags that could potentially narrow it down or it was never uploaded/the artist was banned.

Looking for text-to-speech program recommendations.
