What is this image from? Akira?
>>357251
Apparently it from "Memories" by Katsuhiro Otomo, which is based on 3 mangas.
Dunno of it is from the film or one of the mangas.
.... But then again: Chinese finger painting is not my forte

Thanks, anon. Much appreciated
>>357251
It's from a manga that has a collection of stories in it called Kanojo no Omoide.

Your picture in particular is from the third story, A Farewell to Arms.
Hi, I need the wisdom of some real anime otakus.
I need a serie to watch but I don't know what yet,
The series and movies I have watched and liked are:
Cowboy Bebop
Ghost in the Shell SAC
Jin Roh the Wolf Brigade
Akira
And my guilty pleasures are:\
Naruto, Boruto and Dragonball (not Z)
Any help would be greatly appreciated
>>357224
I can recommend you the following series, but it doesn't mean that you'll like them all.
Psycho-Pass
Shinsekai yori
Guilty Crown
Grisaia no Kajitsu
Code Geass
FMA
Steins;Gate
Mawaru Penguindrum
>>357224
The Aquarion trilogy
>>357235
Have to disagree with you on Penguindrum, it was bad.
Ergo Proxy
Psycho-Pass
Apple Seed
Bubblegum Crisis
Dominion
Outlaw Star
So I downloaded a bit of anime off Kiss and I realized the file sizes for the videos are quite larger than some other animes I got through torrenting.
I was wondering if anyone knew of or could suggest a good/reliable program for reducing video file size, while maintaining quality in the video?
I've done a bit of googling already, however there are a lot of seedy looking programs and pages out there that I just don't trust.
>>357222
You can use Handbrake.
But it's not possible to reduce size and maintain quality; if it were, don't you think the original encoder would have already done it?
>>357222
Avidemux
Either reduce resolution or quality or both.
>>357225
I feel like not everyone thinks about it. I find the same movies with the same video quality ranging from 5gb to 2gb, so I feel like not everyone does it or thinks about it.
I am rather new to the idea myself, which is why I want to look into it. Are there certain file formats that take up less space?
Could someone please add the flame effect and shadows (if possible) to the central chains in this pic?
>>357209
can you post the chains separate from the background?
>>357214
Sure, sorry.
>>357218
now post only the background without chains
I'm looking for a webcomic/fanart that was popular a while ago. The first panel is a child smiling at something with their eyes closed. The second panel zooms in their eyes to reveal that they're not closed at all, they're just maliciously staring at something.
The kid had chin-length hair, so it reminded me of the Undertale main character.

I recently realized I haven't really seen too many anime movies that I actually enjoyed.
These are what I've worked out to be my favorites so far, what movies do you think I'd like.
For reference it's Girls Und Panzer der Film, Dog of Flanders, Macross Do You Remember Love, the first Patlabor Movie, Ideon Be Invoked, and the End of Evangelion.
What movies did you dislike?
Akira
Paprika
Perfect Blue
Jin Roh
Does anyone know how to get this to install on Windows 10?
https://archive.org/details/MEGC0020
>Must download all files and then run the setup file to work
>>357115
I did that, but it says that this app can't run on your pc.
Are you going to tell us if there's an error message, or do we have to guess? We can't help you if you provide basically zero information.
What is a synonym for universal, something that is true in all situations?
>>357105
constant, invariable, uniform
context would help
>>357128
I'm writing a text about personal experiences and how they're not always universal
Ubiquitous
Hello frens, can you please place apu's face over this guy's face
If you can keep the hair that would be excellent
>>357101
Here's a good Apu face to use
>>357102
I'll post a few others that you may find easier to use
>>357104
I would like to have some good JRPG games here, so maybe give me some downloads and requests?
>so maybe give me some [...] requests?
>>357097
be patient, sweetie
this is a slow board
Cave Story
Yume Nikki
Final Fantasy; start with FF4
even using an emulator to play Pokemon can be comfy
>>357098
The point was that asking for requests on a request board is a bit redundant. OP meant recommendations.
Etrian Odyssey series (on ds and 3ds)
Persona series (I don't know how good this is)
Valkyria Chronicles
What's the drum that sounds like a person going "hoh"?
Snare?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGxXpEPzuhI
>>357086
No, it's like some tropical shit or something like a steel drum. Try and breath in and make a high pitched "hoh", that's pretty close to what it sounds like.
Hyoshigi ?
How do I turn off windows 10 updates forever? I google it but the method using services.msc doesnt work and the fucking updates seems to start ONLY when I decide to play league of legends, which is fucking stupid
AFAIK the best you can do is prevent Windows 10 from downloading them automatically, which is what you should get after messing about in services.msc.
Set your connection to metered, this way it will only auto download the "essential" updates which come relatively rarely
>>357044
Run-->services.msc-->sevice-->Automatic Update/ Windows Update/ Whatever it is called in 10-->set Execuion type to "Disabled"
hey guys anyone can point me to a good .epub reader fro Windows? I can't remember which one I used to use, bonus points if it can read .cbr too.

What's similar to this and has interesting characters? I finished this and I crave more of it.
>>357009
trigun, ttgl, jormungand, gangsta, samurai champloo or gunbuster/diebuster
>>357009
Hellsing and its OVA, Devil May Cry the anime, Air Gear, Gantz, Deadman Wonderland.
>>357009
IMO Black Lagoon doesn't even hold a candle to Jormungand: Perfect Order.
The first season of Jormungand might be hard to get through if you're not into the action, but Perfect Order fucking nails it; great characters, great art, great concept, great story.
Underrated as fuck, where else can you find a story about a child soldier tagging along with international arms dealers?
