VPNs arent expensive. PIA is $40 a year and ExpressVPN is about $90. Pretty cheap considering you'll be downloading thousands of dollars worth of shit.

Nope, the filters are applied within a remote server, that's why the app doesn't work without wifi. So the race filters are permanently gone: they've been removed from the server and therefore from any apk you download.

It's common 4chan knowledge to take everything with a grain of salt related to things of any given board's actual topic.
Yes, it's worth reading. The film is very concise when comparing, but its plot structure still comes from the manga.
The manga has a lot of subplots and expands on stuff, I should think you'll appreciate it if you enjoy the film.
However, while it has been released in English in the original 6 volumes it was compiled as in Japan, it is still flipped and sound effect translated. An unaltered version will be coming later this year, in case you'd rather wait for that since it is so close anyway.

Hey wsr, need help finding a book.
Older children's picture book. Read it in 1999 or so, but it was probably written in the 70-80's but I could be very wrong...
The book was about a group of kids, roughly 5-10 of them, and they were maybe related.
Might have had a witch or something, I think I remember something about food?
It was not set in modern times.
Sorry for the vagueness. I was pretty young when it was read to me, but I remember the art style. I know it had detailed art, more realistic than most children's books, definitely darker. Reds, browns, warm colors were used. If blue was used, it was probably dark like a navy blue.
It is not a well known book. Or at least, not common currently.
I remember the book being fairly large in size, hardcover. Might have had that weird cloth coating some older children's books have instead of the paper slip cover.
The pages had somewhat long paragraphs laid over the pictures, black text.
And if I could remember more, I would. Please help me find this book! It's killing me.

Does food get spoiled in heat?
I want to bring some food to school since I'll be there all day 8am-6pm and I don't want to carry it around all day. It would be locked in my car in the 100 degree weather. I'd probably pick it up around 1 to eat.
