Ok quick question. I have to raise the temperature to 3200 degrees yet you can only raise it by 441, 295 or 161 at a time from 3 buttons. How am I suppose to figure out how much to raise and what to raise with? What's the answer?
>>364247
Got Bored, tried to brute force it with a spreadsheet, here is the closest i could find:
3201=3*441+2*295+8*161
>>364247
It's NP-complete so I brute-forced from -100 to 100. Solutions include
-90 99 85
-81 85 86
-74 92 54
-72 71 87
-67 99 22
-65 78 55
-63 57 88
-58 85 23
-56 64 56
-54 43 89
-51 92 -9
-49 71 24
-47 50 57
-45 29 90
-44 99 -41
-42 78 -8
-40 57 25
-38 36 58
-36 15 91
-35 85 -40
-33 64 -7
-31 43 26
-29 22 59
-28 92 -72
Note that these all involve negative numbers i.e. "reverse presses" for these buttons. You can't reach 3200 with only increases. Personally I would just get a better oven.
>>364247
Assume that there is an integer solution of 441 a + 295 b + 161 c = 3200 with a,b,c >= 0
441 = 7^2 3^2
295 = 5 59
161 = 7 23
3200 = 2^7 5^2
modulo 7 : b = 1 (mod 7), or b = 7y + 1, y >= 0
441 a + 295 (7y + 1) + 161 c = 3200
441 a + 2065 y + 161 c = 2905
63 a + 295 y + 23 c = 415
So, y=1 : 63 a + 23 c = 120
a is 0 or 1 but neither 120 nor 120-63=57 are divisible by 23, a contradiction.
or y=0 : 63 a + 23 c = 415
you can produce a contradiction as above, for example.

I just can't solve this one (L'Hopital not allowed).
The limit of (2^x) / ln(x) when x goes to +infinity.
I'm trying to use e^x >> ln(x). So 2^x = e^(xln(2)). If u = xln(2) then we have the limit when u goes to +infinity of (e^u) / ln(u / ln(2)) = (e^u) / (ln(u) - ln(ln(2)).
So, I tried (e^u) / ln(u) < (e^u) / (ln(u) - ln(ln(2))) but THAT'S A LIE since ln(ln(2)) < 0, and that was my last hope.
Isn't it just infinity?
>>364250
it is, but I can't just say "it's just infinity"
>>364243
You can use 2^x/ln(x) > 2^x/x for x>=1 (or another function) and prove that 2^x/x is unbounded.
Looking for a book called:
"Principles of Statistics for Engineers and Scientists" by William Navidi
I've looked around online and cannot find a pdf or torrent for it. If anyone has it digitally or physically, I would be willing to pay you for it. Just not willing to pay the $140.00 that the school/amazon is asking for.
Thanks in advance.
Pretty sure i found it http://libgen.io/book/index.php?md5=E2E45928D513F7E7016538C772D1E3C9

Thanks a ton, that worked. I will have to remember Libgen in the future.

How is it called when, for example, someone talks more about a game/movie/book/etc... when that someone has barely or never played/saw/read said movie, game or whatever?

My CPU has been running at 100% load on all my games and I have no idea what's causing it. It's only started happening to me the last few days. Games like the Witcher 3 and GTA IV which I can normally run at high or max settings for a smooth 60 fps have taken HUGE hits. Even a game like CS:GO isn't getting over 30 fps. My temps are all fine and I've checked task manager to clear anything that may be causing it but found nothing. At the moment my CPU is idling at about 15-20% with no tabs open or anything. There's one process named "saUI.exe" which I don't think I've seen before so I don't know if I have some sort of trojan or something. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Do a MalwareBytes scan. This happened to me a few years back, and I had a BTC miner installed through some game that definitely wasn't worth the trouble. I think they make it so they're only active during a game, so hopefully players won't notice the extra computer activity.
>>364207
I've done some scans with Avast and ByteFence I'm just a cheap fuck and don't want to spend money to clean it all up. I think I might get around to it now though

I think MBAM's better.
Regardless, it couldn't hurt to do a reset just in case. Just back up anything important that can't be replaced.
hey guys can someone please provide me with a higher resolution version of this image so I can satisfy my autism while organizing my music?
I couldn't find a larger version, but I've upscaled it to some effect.
Thanks man I think this will work just fine
Whats a good pcie wifi card if I just want to watch videos at 1080p60fps and play online games?
>>364193
Watching 1080p videos is more about how fast your network is, not about how good your wifi card is, Go on speedtest.net and see how fast your wifi is, then buy the cheapest wifi card on amazon that supports that speed with good reviews.
Although an alternative is a really long Ethernet cable, a 100FT Cable is always going to be better than WiFI for gaming.

Hello /wsr/.
I've torrented the game Crusader Kings 2 with all of the DLC for obvious reasons. I'm interested in playing with mods, but from what I can tell the Steam workshop has a far larger selection.
Is it possible to install these mods onto my pirated copy? Is it simply a case of downloading them from the workshop and copying them over?
In addition, bonus points if anyone has the 2.7.1 version patch.
Thanks in advance.

I've been trying to fiddle with the following Visual Basic source with a minor edit (changing MAX_FILES = 10000 to MAX_FILES = 100000) for a while now, as it didn't really want to cooperate when I tried to open an archive with more than 10,000 files in it.
Also note I disregarded the icon and frmMain.resx, using a default one as it didn't seem to cooperate.
Upon compiling it and trying to extract something with it, I got thrown errors (Index/Arthimetic Out of Bounds) and so went to recompile the original, unchanged source, and still got errors whenever I try to use it to extract any archive with it, while the original.exe justwerks. Any ideas what to do?
>Original (exe with folder containing src) mediafire[doot]com download.php?xweoqp2ieep5mxv
>Sample archive my.mixtape[doot]moe cpdlwc.rgss3a
>>364184
MAX_FILES is probably there to protect other code that uses 16-bit datatypes that can only count to 65535. It wasn't set to 10,000 just to be a dick.
You're going to have to actually understand the code, and modify it to actually work with larger data structures.
>>364187
Yeah I figured that would be the case, but if I build the source unchanged it also doesn't work, which I guess is the second problem I'm running into.
