Hey i bought new cpu i7 7700k but my motherboard supports 6th gen skylake and im not sure if my i7 7700k (even ho its same socket 1151) would work.
This website says it will (http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-MSI/H110M_PRO-D.html)
but idk even if i flash bios will it work?
MAIN QUESTION: Will it work if i just slide it in without flashing bios?

>MAIN QUESTION: Will it work if i just slide it in without flashing bios?
Maybe.
It depends if the BIOS you get from the factory is new enough or not.
If not, you need to borrow a Skylake (any Skylake, even a Celeron or Pentium) to boot and flash the BIOS, or you need to flash the BIOS using a EEPROM programmer.
>>368783
I have skylake cpu i5 6400 but idk how to flash it, all youtube tutorials show different bios than mine
Sorry i forgot to say yeah my mobo is h110m pro-D
>>368787
So you're golden then.
Just assemble everything with the 6400, update your BIOS, then put the 7700k in.
Youtube is making it sound difficult, but literally all you're doing is updating your BIOS. Your motherboard manual will tell you exactly how to do it, as will the README that comes with your BIOS download.
I updated my audio driver and now I dont have any audio, this has been like this for 4 days.
The software that I used to update my driver is DriverBooster 4.5 (originally dowloaded at v3).
Never had any problems with it until i updated the drivers for a second time.
Stuff:
Xsplit stream audio renderer
Realtek high definition audio 6.0.1.8186
Already tried restarting, turning off, reverting back to previous version.
Should I unninstall it? I havent tried
>Pic unrelated
autobump XD
>>368888
Double autobump xdddd
>>368774
In device manager, uninstall ALL your audio drivers, then reinstall them manually. Don't use a program to update your driver's. Windows (10) will update them for you automatically.
I am looking for some animation software that makes 3d 2d models. Saw a video link of it on /a/ a while back and I can't recall what it was called.

I want to build my own FM radio, however, I do not have an in-depth knowledge of physics and electronics. I need someone to explain how the this FM radio circuit works.
I could try, but I doubt it would make much sense to you, especially if you don't have any understanding of circuits.
You might be better off looking at software defined radio. GNU Radio Companion is a good piece of software, and there's plenty of instructional videos. Plus you don't have to build a circuit, and you can customize your circuit within the program to do multiple things without needing a rebuild each time.
>>368754
You're probably right, I just want to build an actual radio. Design it uniquely and stuff. Could I buy a premade circuit? or use some sort of software possibly
>>368755
Software defined radio essentially means your antenna is a physical antenna, but everything else in the circuit is going on in your PC. Really powerful.
There are a lot of kits (ex: https://www.amazon.com/Elenco-FM-88K-FM-Radio-Kit/dp/B004YHZE0G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503495763&sr=8-1&keywords=fm+radio+kit ), but they're going to teach you more about how to solder things to a board than how to design a radio.
Does anyone have any webms with songs synced to destruction? Bombs/demolitions or what ever. I have a few but I can't upload them as an example because they exceed the limit
Dont have webms but a good song with a related explosion in the drop is ''Stuck in the sound - Let's go''

Where I can buy this sort of contraption for reading? I live in Europe, Romania.
Use a table... maybe turn off a laptop and rest the book on it.
>>368727
Reading stand, sheet music stand. Buy pic related or similar and attach it to a sturdy enough floor lamp.
for hundreds of years people have red with their back/neck bent now you come with this contraption...
Please help me find some good Poppy, Mars Argo or Titanic Sinclair wallpapers for desktop/phone.
Bonus points for Mars Argo, but any will do.
This is all I have of Mars Argo
Any hi-rez version of this?
>>368713
I used to think Poppy was rebelling against generic pop culture but since she went Late night with James Corden and started a tour I feel like her and Titanic are only in it for the money. It's definitely a good business plan with all the creepy videos I'll give them that.
Is this a question of perspectives? Like, the closer the object gets the bigger it appears? (And thus, the 10cm 'diameter' is a relative measurement, not an absolute one?
>>368720
If the answer is yes, then it's just a proportions thing... W1/D1 = W2/D2
So 10cm / 91.5 cm = x / 91 cm...
x = 9.84 cm
right object is 10.33 cm.
>>368704
Apparent size at distance X = [apparent size at reference distance]*( [reference distance]/[distance X] )
You can use this to calculate the apparent size of any object at any distance
I want to make a shopping list for major investments.
As I do lists like that more often, it would be nice to have an app for that.
The thing is, I want more than one row, so I can add notes to the notes, but I want to be able to drag and drop the columns as a whole with as much ease as possible.
Essentially a hybrid between a bulletin board/list and a spreadsheet app.
Does anybody know anything list that?
If you have MS Word, you can just change the style of sections to heading 1, 2, or 3... The sections are collapsible and you can cut and paste.
Alternatively, you could just do the work in your file system. Make a List folder. Every sub-list is another folder. As long as you have the right view mode on, you can expand them. Add text files as notes and use the built in previewer to read them without opening. No need to outsource...
I can do it in all sorts of ways, this is more a question of doing it in a convinient manner without looking at horrible interfaces (my office package is kinda old from the XP era).
It's specifically about drag&drop instead of copy and paste.
I could simply do it, for example in excel. I just don't like it. Currently fumbling around with the view options.
>>368685
You should consider stealing a new copy of Office...
Pic related is a screenshot of a report on accounting standards in Word's outline mode. Maybe older versions have it. You can drag and drop sections and promote/demote/collapse headings.
Can you recommend some books that faithfully depict what life looks like from grade school to college age in the US? Even some segments of it, really. Not raw data, just personal stories. Could be fiction, if realistic. Thanks.
Never seen it, but it fits the bill. Literally in production for 12 years following some kid:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boyhood_(film)
>>368663
Honestly anything in the genre "Coming of Age".
>>368677
Yeah, I know, I'm just hoping for something more informative than "introvert is really deep and gets the girl". Like anon said, "Boyhood" - but a book.
