It's subnet notation.
The network is 127.0.0.0, and you get the subnet mask by taking
1111111111,1111111111,1111111111,1111111111, and turning /n of the rightmost 1s into 0s, for example /8 is 1111111111,1111111111,1111111111,00000000, or 255.255.255.0
The masked parts of the subnet don't matter, so 127.0.0.1/8 is exactly the same thing as 127.0.0.45/8 and 127.0.0.255/8. By convention we use zeroes in the masked parts.
/n doesn't have to be a multiple of 8, so 64.0.0.0./29 and 127.0.0.224/5 are just as valid subnets.

Just run the numbers. Here's a useful reference to start you off

subnet 255.255.0.0 = /16 = 2^16 addresses starting with whatever the initial address of the range is
In your case the range probably extends from 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255. That is the full extent of one of the three blocks reserved for private LANs. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_network for reference.

Traditionally 192.168.a.b is a /8, so OP would have 192.168.0.0/8, or 192.168.0.1-192.168.0.254 . It's very unusual to use a /16 at home, as very few homes have more than 250 machines on the same network segment.
(....0 is a valid address, but by convention it's not used, and ....255 is the broadcast address).

Yo 4chan, here's a worksafe request : investigate the WCB organization in Canada, in particular the WorksafeBC one but they all use client homelessness & poverty suicide as a tool to avoid their responsibilities. I guarantee you will find widespread & endemic corruption at the expense of individual peoples lives. Canada has a reputation of being a fair, civilised country, go scratch the surface however & you will find that it is the opposite. Corruption is everywhere, it runs the place & ordinary people are desperate. The worst of all is the WCB however, they destroy peoples lives on purpose, are owned privately by a US company & pay their workers a ridiculous amount as legalised 'hush' money. You wanna look further, look into the 60's scoop, it is still going on, all over the country but especially in BC where the rabid left is utterly rooted into all forms of tax payer funded infrastructure.
Expose the gentrified corruption & help the real people of Canada. Please.
