I'm trying to find two brand new access cards for two college textbooks for really cheap.
First one is the Standalone Access Card for Mathematics for Elementary Teachers with Activities (5th Edition). Second one is Modified MasteringPhysics, Standalone access card for Conceptual Physics (12th Edition). Please help, I can't afford 300+ dollars for two pieces of paper.
I need help finding an infographic I saw the other day on /b/ it was about dating, women, romance, etc. It was black text on a purple background and had a pic of a hot grill looking seductive. I know, I know I should have saved it when I had the chance, but I thought I would never have a use for it. I tried google and had no luck. Suggestions on how to find it, are welcome as well. Here is a pic of a cheetah-dog for helping me out.

I, OP, found a low resolution version.
Anyone got a link to a dump from the recent Onliner Spambot hack? Cheers lads.

Have a home recording studio issue. I picked up an aston origin mic and an M-Audio M-Track 2x2 interface, I installed the drivers for the interface, and now have the microphone as an option in my list of recording devices, however I cannot record with it. I look at the clip range on the box itself as I tap the mic and it goes in the red (so that means none of the equipment should be faulty), all the while on my PC it is showing it as silence.
That may be the stem of my next issue as well: I seem not to be able to even configure it in audacity, at the moment I can only play tracks without it being static through the Windows wasapi audio host -- but when I try to record with the aston mic under that audio host I get an error telling me to change audio hosts. None of the audio hosts I have tried actually ended with me recording something tangible or audible, just complete silence or some sort of strange error about auto latency adjustment, leaving me in the dust when it comes to anything record related
My main goal at least as of now is relatively simple, I just need to be able to record in audacity. I get a ton of errors trying to record with all this new equipment, and unfortunately I am pretty much a complete beginner so I honestly have no idea how to overcome these hurdles. This fool took all the god damn equipment to best buy to see if they could help and they just told me that they don't know what's wrong. The funny thing is, it's probably a simple fix.
Any help would be appreciated, I'm running out of space with the amount of recordings I have done on my phone for my music. I would like to get this shit set up pretty soon, It's my passion, but these technical difficulties are like uppercuts to my ribs.
can you give some screenshots, I"m pretty good with Windows but can't imagine the exact software/hardware setup you have.
>>373750
I'm fairly inexperienced with using computers, but really all I've got to show on the software side (where I believe the problem resides) Is normal Audacity, just the recording device seems to be unresponsive (even though it is clearly functional as I speak into it and watch the clip monitor rise on the audio interface itself). You want pictures of the hardware?
>>373750
The issue seems to be that the audio interface is fucking up somewhere, or I have faulty drivers. The box has lights that light up to monitor any clipping and they always light up, but on the software side it is unresponsive. I reinstalled the latest drivers for m audio about ten times now and haven't got a clue why it's fucking up so bad. In this screenshot I'm speaking directly into the mic, and while you see a response out of the box itself, there is no response on the software side
Lost my receipt, would really appreciate if someone could help a guy out
Anyone know the source of this image or the artist that made it?
I tried reverse image search and some other stuff and it turned up nothing.
I always come across articles talking about how to use an American charger in China via adapter, but never the other way around. Will my 3DS get fried if I use a Chinese charger in the U.S.? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know where I can download this album?
I've been looking for some time and I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Have you tried Soulseek?

I've never heard of it before but I'll look into it.

Just checked and there doesn't seem to be anything on there.
Can someone please explain this chapter for a retard?
It's about database design and proper MVC design.

Bonus question: what boards other than /gd/ can I upload pdf files?

Okay, so the Model is supposed to sit between the underlying storage and the Controllers and Views, representing the data, and providing *semantic* operations to modify it.
Say you have a site that sells stuff. Your Model might have methods to sell a product, and to check in more products from the wholesaler. These are semantic operations: they're real things that are being done to real things. What your Controller is supposed to be doing is saying to the Model "hey, this guy just bought a skateboard", and the Model is supposed to be sorting things out. It's supposed to be abstracting the actual details of the operation from the controller, so that the actual details are contained in one Model, not a bunch of Views and Controllers.
The antipattern in that chapter is when actual implementation details start oozing out past the controller into the Views and Controllers. The Model isn't serving as a barrier to keep the implementation details out of them, and now not only are they in the Controller where they don't belong, they're duplicated across all the Controllers, and not necessarily the same way each time.
Now your example Controller, instead of saying "Model, this guy bought a skateboard, sort it", is now saying "Model, decrease the number of skateboards in the stock table by one, and create a new order for this guy, and add a skateboard to it, and add a skateboard to the next order from the wholesaler, and email Jeff". This causes several problems:
- Model code in the Controllers means the skateboard can now get sold differently depending on which Controller sold it
- code to turn data into semantic things is duplicated across all Views and Controllers, which means more coding and more testing
- the controller now depends on internal details of the storage layer beyond the Model, so it can't be tested without the actual Model and storage layer being there
- you can't unit-test the controllers; every test tests the whole stack

If you take nothing else away from this chapter, it should be these two figures.
In the top one, there are several "Models", but they're not real models, they're just DAOs, and the Model work is being done in the Controllers. Everything is a mess.
In the bottom one, the Model is doing its job. It's providing an interface full of semantic operations for the Controllers to call, and it's hiding the details of the database tables from them. The Controllers don't need to duplicate code, and they're not coupled to a load of stuff that isn't their job. Now if you want to test the Controllers, you can unit test against a stub Model, and if you want to test the Model you can unit test most of it against a stub database.
