I know this is dumb but I'm stuck with this problem please help:
Object A starts from the origin velocity 3 m/s and object B starts from the same place with the velocity 5 m/s, 6 seconds later. When will B Catch up with A?

To find position equations, you want to express the velocity as an integral. In the case of constant velocities, the equation is v * t + b, with b being the initial position. So the equations for A and B would be A=3t and B=5t.
B starts 6 seconds later, so by the time B moves, A is already at its position for t=6 seconds. Initial position of A=3 * 6seconds = 18m. Initial position of B = 0.The new equations are A=3t+18 and B=5t.
You want to know when the position of B equals that of A, so we set 3t+18=5t. Moving the equation around, we get 2t=18. So they are at same position at t=9 seconds, which is your answer.

Oops, lemme correct my answer - You're already at time =6 when it starts, so add 6 to the time elapsed. 6+9=15 seconds, which is the correct answer.

Is there any super secret manga app for Android with no adds and isn't a catalogue of free manga with ads? I am currently using Perfect Viewer, but it's annoying to me to constantly switch from left to right to right to left and it's annoying how I have to press left to read manga forward.
I use Chunky on my iPad and it does exactly what I want Perfect Viewer to do, but it doesn't seem to be on android.

I have this shit to factorize.
X^3+x^2-4x-x.
Now if its -5 there are no 2 numbers that adding them together would give me +1and are factors of -5.
Ive also tried to expand but it leads nowhere.
The best ive got is x(x^2+x-5)
My math teacher gives us fucked up practices so I got stuck here. Help me kurasai.

It's probably a typo, but here you go:
x^2 + x - 5 =
x^2 + x + 0.25 - 5.25 =
(x + 0.5)^2 - 5.25 = 0 iff
(x + 0.5)^2 = 5.25
x + 0.5 = +-sqrt(5.25)
x = -0.5 +- sqrt(5.25)
so the factorization is
x(x - (-0.5 + sqrt(5.25)))(x - (-0.5 - sqrt(5.25)))

Looking for help with a very basic R assignment. I'm taking a course for complete novices. I'm not quite sure about how to get R to spit out the mode (#3), I can't find any command for it online or in my textbook.
1. Create a list with four elements - two character, one numeric and one logical

This doesn't quite work (if you type mode(x) you'll see that x is a character vector) because the 'c' function will assume you want a character vector and try to coerce the non-character elements into strings. You want
x = list('Hello', 'Hi', 400, 5 > 1)

x[[4]]
