DUDE FRESHBEATS LMAO
Why the fuck did the mods delete this? This isn't porn, it's from an OVA. Aren't we going by /a/ rules where tits are OK so long as there's no fucking?
I love his voice. I've watched so much absolute dogshit garbage just for it. His voice alone makes even the worst shit tolerable somehow.
Even Strike the Blood, which will definitely require drugs to finish due to that damn IIE bitch throwing itself into everything.
From every thread for the past 6 months.
The constant reposting would not be so bad if the webm did not have such terrible quality.
>I haven't been on 4chan in like 3 years.
Oh god what game is that radio sound from?
It sounds so familiar but I just can't place it.
I know it as being part of a ringtone, but it could just be a very common sound effect.
I remember that sound effect being part of the radio noise in Nightmare House 2, a Half Life 2 mod, so it's either a stock Half Life 2 sound or an original sound by the mod creators, don't know which.
Tumblr gifs are easily spotted for their shit quality: tiny resolution, dithered colors, choppy animation that only lasts a couple seconds at most, and all of that compressed to a filesize under 1MB.
If you're going to post gifs (you really shouldn't) they should at the very least be higher quality ones that take advantage of 4chan's file size limits and image dimensions, not shitty tumblr gifs that make you wonder why they even bothered making it a gif.
ALWAYS use variable
ALWAYS enable high quality mode
Audio only needs to be 1 for anything that is going to be posted here
Adjust resolution, CRF/tolerance till the video looks good and is <4mb.
Lower CRF/Tolerance values = Better video = larger file
Lower the resolution.
For posting here the video does not need to bigger than 800x450 and never be smaller than 480x270 (ant territory).
Nobody watches these clips full screen.
So reduce the resolution and use the FULL 4mb to make the video look as good as possible.
I use a 1080p monitor and 270p is completely fine for WebM's. I'd rather be at 360p or 540p, but 270p is totally acceptable.
Sure it still works even at very small sizes, but it's not ideal.
He said they don't need to be any larger than 800x450, but it's not about need so much as want.
Really you should just make the clip as large as you can without sacrificing too much quality, as long as it doesn't exceed the source file, of course.
There's nothing wrong with a higher resolution clip as long as it still looks good.
Ah, I gotcha. I still don't go over 540p under any scenario (I like to have comments visible and such), but I understand what you mean.
I watched about five and these flashbacks are the only thing that's really keeping my attention. They're creepy and engaging, but the main plot is kinda boring. Does it get better as it goes on?
what kind of style music does this counts as?
It sounds for kinda chill hip hop music but is there anything more specific?
It does take them a while to get on with solving the murder, and there generally isn't high tension of 'a muderer on the loose.' It definitely picks up near the end, but that's hard to avoid with a mystery style show. I can't say it's remarkable as I generally don't watch mystery. I more appreciated the character's and the art design of the series.
I think (as is generally true with mystery/thriller) it'd probably benefit from marathoning so all the small details stick from one episode to the next. It can also help remedy slower pacing.
The condition where something is true is x=1, the condition where something is false is x≠1. There are infinite possibilities for falsehood. Odds are in their favor.
Couldn't get the subtitles to work but whatever, I made this one for the voice acting primarily.
I realized it got cut off, the converter program can apparently only work within the 4mb limit so far. This is longer but smaller res.
The Japan arc is kind of drawn out but the Greenback Jane chase is just so fucking golden.
BL is better than a lot of dubs, but that doesn't mean it actually sounds good, a lot of the performances sound very flat and emotionless still.
Maybe I don't want to listen to voices recognizable from Saturday Morning Cartoons in my edgy action anime? It's one of the things that takes me completely out of dubs.
An example of a good dub is Cowboy Bebop, which actually had good voice performances.

This guy gets it. The good voice actors are the good actors and the english ones want to do live action. The pool of good english voice actors is puny compared to japans.
Id recommend only two dubs total, bebop and dbz kai, and mostly just because of the crappy recording setups they must have been using at the time, the helsing and FMP brotherhood dubs hired well but so did the natives.
That was the first webm I ever made so that really doesn't surprise me.
While interesting in it's own right, it is decidedly not anime.
So do I, actually.
Select the "Arithmetic Addition Dithering" under Dithering Algorithm choices. Turning on denoise can go quite a ways.
Using Alt. Reference Frames does pretty well for me.
Oh, and do make sure you've got 2-Pass VBR turned on.
WfR actually uses a separate frame seeking library, which is substantially faster then ffmpeg (which decodes up to time X when you use -ss). This other library has it's bugs though, a big one being that it doesn't work if the container has more than 10(?) total streams (audio, video, text).
It's not actually a big deal, and you do get finer control over what and how you do something (dctdnoiz vs atadenoise and their parameters eg noise sigma level and block area).
If speed and trimming is what you're concerned with then you should be mpv with the webm generation addon.
The bug was with >31 tracks, and I believe that was fixed many months ago. I know it was >31, though, because I submitted a bug report for and got a response from the developer specifying exactly as such.
It's been a while since I looked at that bug; can you point me to it?
Even at 32+ I still remember it causes issues for some content, as chapter marks counted towards that limit.
>I submitted a bug report
Are you the WfR dev or that guy who was wondering why he couldn't make Nisemongatari webms with WfR 9 months ago?
*shrug* if that was 9 months ago I wouldn't remember.
>if that was 9 months ago I wouldn't remember.
It was; I checked the file modified date on this webm to be sure.
Read the thread. Your question was answered.
Some fuccboi was complaining he couldn't get this into 4mb in a feels thread
Weeb shit doesn't make me feel anything so I'm dumping it here, enjoy.
This is with heavy dct de-noising, heavy sharpening, alt reference frames, and 2 pass encoding. It took 6 hours to encode running on 6 3.3GHz CPU cores.
>inb4 still looks like shit
>inb4 still looks like shit
well sorry hos, but thats the way lossy works
you cant keep chucking away bitrate data used to explain changes and hope your little noise scrubber 'patches all the holes'
that particular OP to me looks like a nightmare of full screen changes that no amount of anything but more bitrate will service, regardless of lossy codec used
Here you go.
Looks as shitty as his and didn't took fucking 6 hours to encode. It took me longer to download that garbage than to encode it.
2 points before I get some much needed sleep:
1. playing around with those video filters was for fun, to see the impact they could have on quality
2. if you compare frames in multiple sections between those 2 videos you'll find the first is noticeably cleaner
That's not to say it's worth it time wise at all, nor is it "correct" in that it's modifying the source, but it does seem to have had a positive effect.
Literally Ep 1 of Bakemonogatari
My little sister would only eat carrots for about a year when she was little. As in, literally, she would only eat carrots and would scream and cry and make herself throw up if given anything else. Her pediatrician said if she would have to have vitamin shots, to try to discourage her, and she just flatly agreed to it. So, my parents and the doctor decided to kind of stare her down, and just let her. She ate only carrots, besides a vitamin every day, and two shots every month, for a year. It eventually turned her skin this pale pinkish orange color and her hair started growing in a lot darker, so it looked like she had dark roots coming in on dyed blonde hair, but it was all natural.
If you can't figure out what show that is you might want to seriously consider watching some of the top rated anime on MAL first.
The whole appeal of Monogatari is the funny conversations the characters have, and the varied animation styles that highlight their situation and relationship. The only thing Ore is really missing out on, arguably, is Araragi. Not everyone likes the books and adaptations that follow the secondary characters like it does, but there will always be people who don't like something about anything. If you can appreciate it for what it is, it's a fun complement to the main series.
Someone already posted this, right? Or were they intimidated by the light show?
Didn't play it. From what I can see it's completely different than the anime, so it seems like it'd pretty good. Ratings put it at okay. English patch exists if you don't speak Yamato. Can't get the best ending after one playthrough, though. Hopefully it has a speed-up option.
damm i thought i was lazy
well, its there if you change your mind
Anyone have more mayo chiki? specifically the baaa scene?
>translation full of errors
I don't know who is responsible for this abomination, but they should commit sudoku.
I need to fall in love again pls
Best anime ever made
Seriously... 12~ episodes are shit.
It's a shame that is a trend.
You don't even have time to get hooked
It's Hulu, they do this with every show they put out.
>Use a terrible font
>Subs are full of spelling errors, wrong translations and bad grammar
>They change the font but keep everything else the same
>Nobody watches it and goes for fansubs instead
>Repeat with the next show they sub because they don't learn
>>892107Anon who went through all the bumps on bumpworthy here. So I know for sure it isnt in the "bumps" section of bumpworthy, however theres still a pretty good chance its on the site in the "cards" section. However there are significantly more cards than bumps and I do not have the time to go through them now.
This. I like the new characters and all, but I spent the whole season waiting for that sexy manlet to show up, and he never did. Ground my gears.
