Get your shit together man, you aren't a starving wolf.
Out with the old, in with the new.
>.gif released in 1987
Are we really going to argue what's new here?
So go make some .webms.
I've made nine since i got on, and i'm drunk.
You can do it too, anon.
Ignorance is no excuse.
Fucking love this scene.
I hate police, the useless fucks.
Going to bed.
It could possibly be Negrosaki
But I've gone through what I think is EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS COLLECTIONS and I have not found it. I could've trimmed over it or missed something easily.
Yeah, it sounds a lot like his work. If such is the case, then there isn't even a full length song it's from.
I would have chunked for being so small, but it turned out too good.
This part was very different compared to everything prior.
>He is not like Dead Apostles who are able to dodge a bullet after it has been fired, so he has to predict the shooter's thoughts, killing intent, and preparatory actions and act beforehand. With extremely quick evasive actions, he moves at the moment the enemy fires to effectively dodge the bullets. He utilizes his bulletproof frock, made from thick Kevlar filaments and covered seamlessly with the Church’s special protection spells, to deal with smaller firearms
Someone on the previous thread said it sounded like one of the transition beats they played between TV shows on adult swim years ago. It sounds familiar, and the stuff is definitely similar. Haven't found the exact track though.
Kevlar coat with magic. Kevlar alone should still leave broken bones and bruises, but the magic works for that I guess. Also it doesn't seem to be able to defeat full sized rifle rounds like the contender fires, as is expected of other types of soft armor.
I'll make some more tomorrow. Have to get up early for work.
>are these really shown in cinemas ffs
Well yes, it's a movie.
>letterboxing is an artistic choice
its a fifty year old anamorphic lens trick for trying to stop people watching movies at home in 4:3
that shit doesnt even apply to animation thats done digitally
Which changed the way directors framed their shots.
They still have to put the principal action inside 25% of either edge because they know most broadcast stations still pan&scan even if the blurays come letterboxed
i just want the thing to fit on my screen and dont particular want to watch all my shit at the cinema
theres no reason to defend this shitty practice for 'artistic' reasons
Give it a 2nd chance later. I actually like Tsuki better, but not right away. I got into it the end of Akiha route, Hisui and Kohaku routes were the best, although Ciel and Kohaku best girl.
There's a mistranslation here that kind of loses the joke. The correct translation of Guu's line at the end is "3 second rule".
>live in an extremely rural area my entire life
>decades pass as i watch people slowly move in
>a few years ago they started throwing up brick houses everywhere
>all the fields and granaries have been replaced with housing districts
>niggers moved in and now the whole place is a drug haven
>they built a fucking super walmart at the end of my street last year
>they started logging the forest near my home this autumn too
I've seen and been through too much already.
I'm not sure if it's even worth trying to move and enjoy what's left of my life, or if i should just kill myself rather than suffer through this miserable and pointless existence any longer.
I miss my family and friends.
They all moved far away years ago.
Heartcatch is amazing
Forgot I’m on /wsg/
The snow leopard staged a kid napping so senpai would notice her.
It's a "rescue". The little girl pretended to be kidnapped so she could be "rescued" by her crush and they would fall in love. Only her crush knew it was horseshit just by reading the ransom note, but ended up going anyway with a full compliment of soldiers because she's the imperial princess.
So everybody knew it was an obvious sham and just treated it like a sideshow while eating some noodles. Only one taking it seriously was the girl.
Any Reccomendation on how to improve black communities?
Congratulations on the wedding to pic related.
if i had a time machine and tasked with improving blacks id just go back to the time of they first importation.
They were allegedly being bred for strong backs and weak minds, so id do mostly the opposite.
My own little eugenics farm until they were so brilliant they cracked room temperature superconduction, cold fusion and true A.I
>smug, brooding edgelord characters
>"IT WAS ACTUALLY A PUPPET I DIDN'T REALLY DIE"
>completely absurd faux-philosophical bullshit played totally straight
>the way he pops her heart AND THEN SNAPS HER NECK, because why settle for merely distasteful when you can be a thousand fucking percent shocking and brutal and unnecessarily disgusting
... I'm not actually complaining. Whatever this is doesn't even look that bad, all things considered. I just think it's funny how perfectly these two clips sum up a huge portion of anime.
Two of my favorite cousins died last summer when they fell asleep in a small shared room with poor ventilation, because they left two fans on. Their parents warned them a million times, but they still snuck the two fans into their room and, on top of it, in spite of so many warnings, went to sleep with them on. Their parents divorced afterwords, and I hadn't seen my aunt until just this week, when she came to visit for New Year. After we were drinking together, she actually suggested in a vague way that she thought they may actually have done it on purpose. Like as a suicide, and that's why her and her husband actually divorced.
It's in the metadata ya injun. Utawarerumono. The new one. Gonna have to assume you're a nooby if you're not aware of currently airing anime.
Archer lost to Berserker because his mana had been heavily diminished before the fight since he used up most of it to heal the wound dealt to him by Saber. Even if he was not able to kill Berserker permanently, he was able to kill 6 of his lives on his own. Pay attention next time dipshit.
So defensive. I mean, if you watched the show, tell me why I'm wrong.Or, if you don't care what I think about the show, I can remind you that you don't need to say anything at all?
> I can remind you that you don't need to say anything at all?
same, nobody cares about your non-opinions pleb faggot
just fuck off, I don't need to justify a show or anything I'm just pointing out that you're an autist
well what else do you expect? oh you almost watched a show that aired 9 years ago but decided not to because some guy who also didn't watch it said something about it, woah you're such an anime connoisseur, everyone must be dying to hear your expert opinions
That explains why I hated every minute of it.
[15 years later]
It's a play on the show's title, anon. The webm listed here is "Ore Monogatari" and the other anon is making a joke and basically asking, "Which of the Monogatari series do I watch first?"
tl;dr: Both of these shows have "Monogatari" in the title, first anon is making a joke of it. You took the bait.
It's a take on the Dungeons and Dragons idea of a city built ontop of the Tarrasque, a creature that infinitely regenerates they trapped it and just harvest its flesh and blood for food and magical items. This allows them to be a prosperous city.
>tfw I waited around all day expecting to hear about Second Impact in 2000 occurring.
>tfw you're an eyeball
you know, even after Like 900 episdes, series should have done the LINE ended here you know wow mean
>tfw using Appchan X
Guess I'll change then.
I read all of the filenames, but for some reason didn't consider the possibility that any of those might be the name of the anime, because the next one was a reference to the first. I thought it was an inside joke or something. Either way, I'm retarded as fuck. Thank you.
I'll watch it, thanks.
It's not anamorphic. Anamorphic refers to a differing scale between horizontal and vertical. Such as the common DVD resolution 720x480 which, despite being 3:2, is displayed in 4:3 or 16:9.
dvds used wider pixels as a selector between 4:3 and 16:9. If it didnt say 'enhanced for widescreen' it was 4:3 panned&scanned.
What hes talking about is the film cameras, and hes right, except for the anamorphic _lens_ thats used to squash a wider picture into 35mm, then it gets corrected as its projected using the reverse anamorphic lens in the cinema.
All of this is entirely pointless in anime movies, as was my original point. Not a single traditional camera is used, they can set any canvas size they like and they chose to target a film audience when home viewers with 16:9 screens are surely the larger market.
Or let's not.
Dem fucking flashing colours though, it's like a nightmare on the webm
Anyone got any Gakkou Gurashi webms?
Especially that one scene in episode 6. Thought i had it but it seems i never actually saved it
I've used editing software before, and the only way i know of to put black bars on everything is to fuck with the aspect ratio whilst not knowing what the fuck you're doing.
Who edited that clip, where did they put it and why the fuck did someone save it, then go further and use it as the source material for a .webm?
Were they the same person?
Did multiple people put it through a fucking over time?
Was it an anon, or did the anon who posted it get it from tumblr or some shit?
Shit like this bugs me when i try to sleep at night.
Oh wait, you're talking about my post? I made them. It's Deadfish's encode of the 1080p BD's. I didn't even notice the black border until you mentioned it. Funny, I've posted them quite a few times and no one ever said anything.
To pre-emptively answer your question, no, I didn't see Elysiums the first time through.
How the hell didn't you notice it?
Not once while watching it?
Not once while encoding it?
Not once the multiple times you've posted it?
It's not even like it's a single pixel, they're thick!
Ahh, wait, correction: I think I skipped Elysium's because in the past I've had trouble making WebM's from Elysium's releases and I knew I wanted to make WebM's of it.
If you're that curious, I fullscreen the show on my widescreen monitor. Since it's 4:3, there's already a bunch of black space on the sides. The bevel on my monitor can easily make a black border less obvious.
I didn't notice it on the playback tests of my WebM's because of the video player I guess, though I normally only check syncing and the beginning and ending crop.
I'm not going to go through the effort to remake them now as I don't think the gain is worth the time, though I acknowledge that it's unfortunate.
