Watch a video of the collapse of Tower 1. You see all those huge, 5 to 10 story sections of sheathing ejecting out in the dust cloud as they hit lower floors and pivoting out? Notice the massive amounts of pulverized cement being blasted out at high speed? If you look up static photos of tower 1 collapsing, you'll see the entire upper portion skewing wildly to the side as a single corner triggered the collapse. It skewed across the street and carved nearly 16 stories of the lower corner of tower 7. There are photos of this damage, and of the fires burning at nearly every floor inside.

Tower 7 was the only other structure that collapsed that day, but 5 other buildings ended up being demolished due to damage. Tower 7 was the closest to the towers of any of those buildings and suffered far more damage than they did.

Pic related, it's the beginning of the collapse. Notice how the entire top of the building is starting to bow in? Not exactly what a controlled demolition would look like, and not very straight down at all.

It's not about wanting to believe anything. It's very simply that the conspiracy theories have been evaluated and found to be unfounded, stupid, or crazy.

But let's ignore that and assume there was some merit to the conspiracy argument. What could we do about it? If there is a conspiracy so deeply embedded in the US government that they could orchestrate something like 9/11 and suppress any dissent from within the government for 14 years, there is realistically nothing the American public could do short of civil war. There was information in wtc7 that they wanted to destroy but it doesn't make sense to only attack the smallest skyscraper in the wtc plaza. They had to attack all of them to make it more believable, and the plane that crashed in the field was headed for wtc7.

I lived in the flat that was hit by a 747 at the time of the crash. I and my family weren't home but I lost my mom because of leukemia 3 years later (there was Uranium abord the plane). A crash into a building is messy but certainly doesn't damage all that much to cause the whole structure to collapse, therefore certainly not projectiled debris nor office fires. Many people who lived there had developed severe health problems, some of which fatal. Among those a close relative of mine who died of leukemia a few years later. I know that Uranium used to be normal in wing tips and tails of 747's but they weren't and aren't supposed to crash.
