Oh I understand now. Yeah I use Nova launcher so I make the Apps button open 'Nova Action' and then select App Drawer. So it depends on what launcher you use.

The images are all different sizes and ratios so it would look wierd that way post-edit. The only way to do it proper is if I could set up the images as separate wallpapers for each page.

The bottom clock (the digital one) that you are using now looks decent. The analog one just takes up too much space and doesn't really fit with the rice.

If you're going to copy, do it right. Your borders are off, you'll need to increase the size of your background rectangles and move them so that the borders are equal widths.
Not a fan of the font, I used terminus, but most monospace fonts with large widths should be fine.
Add another app and extend the frame down so that they exist on two lines, its sleeker.

Hi /wg/ I've not posted a new rice here in almost a year. I'd appreciate some feedback on the aesthetic of this thing I tossed together yesterday. I'm aware of the issues with the animations looking shit, I'll probably be improving them when i get round to it.

The webm is a bit laggy at first but that was the recorder, it runs smoothly all the time. I was originally planning a faux pop up menu thing but then decided it would take to long to get to the apps I want to use, that's why the cross is there, it was originally an arrow and it can be tapped to change the page.

It's a bit buggy. when you've placed it it'll open the widget settings. Don't back arrow out of it, just press home and it shouldn't delete itself instantly.

Try some different fonts
Maybe go for something simpler, think about how much of that you really need (ie, the weather(?) That doesn't seem to even work)
Same goes for the icobs at the bottom, less is more
Doing a Pape with little to no open space is usually a bad ideas but not impossible. Some people would suggest cropping and framing it into a complimentary background (in this case a warm orangish yellow), if it was me though, I'd use the full image to scroll to the empty space on the other side of her head. But again, just experiment and see if this is how you want it.
