If you like a setup, let that person know. If you see a poor setup, offer them advice and criticism. Giving mere numerical ratings does not help much. Not rating others will highly decrease the chance of your setup being rated.

Icons on left expand icon bars/music stuff. Gestures open notifications, app drawer, app search + voice search.
First time trying, think it turned out pretty nice and clean.
Crits and thoughts?
I still need to figure out what I want to do with my clock and weather
my Zooper widget is not updating on the home screen?
i looks fine in the editor but when i exit out of it nothing happens, its just how it is when u first create it..?
ive made a few that worked but now it dosnt wanna work
it just says "resize or tap to start" like i never made anything
Haven't posted here in a bit, but I changed my setup a bit. Still dig the layout, so just some cosmetic changes.
Awesome. Love the 80's black marble look.
Oh god, I'm already behind the times.
I think I'd like it better if I could see a webm. Looks kind of cluttered with everything showing like that.
This is really nice. Clean, flat, and well laid out with all the elements working nicely.
There were a lot of these a few months ago. Setup feels a bit too plain to me. Maybe you could spice it up with some battle system elements from the game.
Not crazy about the clock font or the animation. Some of the other elements look ok. Keep playing with new stuff and you'll find something.
Nice and simple. Looks great to me.
This is really good too. The colors and outlines remind me of Super Famicom.
Definitely feels stock; like MIUI or some third party launcher. It's not a bad look per se, but doesn't feel too riced out.
Looks nice. Something about the layout feels a little off, but that's probably just me.
It does feel a little boring. I would change the icons at least.
Not sure I like the box in the middle. Kind of overbearing. I'd change the way the elements are arranged and padded to help balance things.
That was a really sweet setup. Definitely worth stealing.
Nice colors and elements. Feels a bit too compact to me, but that's just me.
Not requesting a rate, just posting a zip of the melee papes I made for a guy from the last thread.
>Contains mobile (1080x1920) and desktop (1920x1080) versions
>Each has Falco and Fox variants
>Three backgrounds: Final Destination, Dreamland, and Fountain of Dreams
Long time no rice /wg/
Love the softness of the pape and the whicons, you could make all the widgets more uniform by keeping them the same width as your icon placement. And maybe lose the scroll indicator but it's not that much of a deal breaker. Well done
Alignment of text and icons is off, I like your flat style as well as those fitting navigation buttons
Bother to change it up at least. Even the slightest difference
Liked the balance of the icons but all the texts makes you lose focus. There is nothing your eye can concentrate on as everything just leads on to another without a sense of boundary. I like the image and BG color.
I like the pop. I'd prefer to have the icons arranged into more of a square but yours still looks well proportioned
Not sure which I prefer, this...
I want to change the font to match everything but wont that change the font in the apps as well?
I tried but the shadow ruins it. Can't remove it either
I like this but it's a little basic
Anyone got any idea for a better bg?
Couldn't find any in the 3 or so phone bg threads
Thanks to whoever put up the fallout theme with nova & uccw a few days ago. shits tight.
Think I got way further then what I had in the morning.
Legitimate criticism. I actually did try to do a webm but I've never made one before. And it kept saying mine had sound so I couldn't post it on /wg/. Grew impatient, just did screenshots lol. I usually only have one drawer out at once.
I've posted this before, but it was a while back and I've changed it a bit. Bls rate
Icons feel a bit too big 8/10
Really like this, the colors work well together 9/10
I like the subtle curve on top bar, how was it done? 7/10
I don't like how there's a line right through the middle of her face 7.5/10
Great colors, how'd you get one screen to solely be the appdrawer? 9/10
Anything that contrasts better than the white. The yellow behind the white looks bad. Also font doesn't match either 4/10
When you make a new widget at the bottom there should be an option for progress bars. At least thats how its on mine.
Was my old one
I completely redid it
Got inspired from the OP, sorry for the quick (shit) webm you get the idea
Gr8 as always
Everything matches perfectly
Simple but nice, great pape
Too many icons for that set up I like the colors but maybe stick with less
I like it the other gif was goat but these colors are great too
I like this more, what are the 1st and 3rd screens, homescreens?
Those sidebars are weird, maybe too short
Nice animation but don't think the font and papes match at all
Is it possible to set up your screens like this? In a way that has each screen have a different picture?
My lockscreen would have its own picture
My homescreen would have its own picture
When I'm at the homescreen, both the left and right slides would have their own picture?
Pretty new to this, still trying to figure everything out
Never used klwp. Seems a little complicated at first but I can try. I wish there was a desktop version that I could use.
The images are all different sizes and ratios so it would look wierd that way post-edit. The only way to do it proper is if I could set up the images as separate wallpapers for each page.
Also added a battery bar in the under the clock
And just centered it all a bit more so it looked nicer
Copied from QuantumIB? Am I right? Great shot though. This is better than >>6464759
I guess this will be better if this not pixelated.
This is good really. Smooth.
Good really. This is much better than the plain background.
There is an app called MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. Installed it once but I don't know how to use it. Try it.
Use one music widget. What music widget is it by the way, the second one? Be more consistent. Remove the weather icon. In design, less is more.
Try other colors. For your inspiration >>6464645
I know it's not great, but I've reached a brick wall in creativity and don't know what to do.
Really? I hadn't noticed...
I guess it's just how it looks when it's completed. I don't really notice a curve. But this is the guide I followed...
>>6464228 this gets me hot 10/10
>>6464409 pretty. too much color for me t b h 7/10
>>6464456 playstation type look. 6/10
>>6464474 whats that bar? and the gb numbers? 8/10
>>6464596 t b h memebox 6/10
>>6464645 stolen nicely though. vaporwave 8/10
>>6464694 color scheme is nice. too many icons i think. 6/10
>>6464735 how to set gifs as homescreens? 9/10
>>6464763 im loving the clock. how? 8/10
>>6464895 im sure its intentional ,but that date is just wierd. 8/10
>>6464978 ive been debating doing this. 6/10
>>6465268 hooly shit, that circle spins waay too much. makes my eyes (glitch?) bug out. 7/10
>>6465525 make this diagram a homescreen!
>>6466018 thats not how the o' in o'clock works tho 6/10 kinda gnereic icons
i kinda want to do a vaporwave now, any advice? i havent done anything vaporwave before
...ok, yeah I stopped the clock for a pun
Ankh is the app drawer btw
Couldn't agree more
Crowded at the top, empty at the bottom, don't like the music player, get rid of that searchbar. 5/10
Don't really like the clock font or the icons, sorry. 5/10
Reminds me of a 70s burgundy jacket, 9/10
9.5/10, would be perfect if not for the shadows
Left: 9/10 right: 8/10
The dock doesn't fit in well with the stripes, but I'm loving the colour consistency everywhere else. 8/10,if this is your first attempt then give yourself an extra point
Every time I see one of these I get an erection. 10/10
I really like this pape, I just got into hgg last night and decided to make my first ever custom home screen. Still pretty basic but I'll improve in the future. R8/Critique?
Honestly it feels like KLWP has a really limited font selection, is there anyway to get more fonts? As for the backgrounds I thought they matched rather well together, though I guess the change in color is a bit jarring.
i always forget the image
Nothing fancy like all of you, stock One plus One but I think it looks nice right now. Don't know how to remove page indicator or I would
Not sure about clocks, but definitly go for something different than what you have. You could always just make one yourself.
The bottom clock (the digital one) that you are using now looks decent. The analog one just takes up too much space and doesn't really fit with the rice.
here are my rates:
really like the color/ icon mix 9/10
not too bad for a first try, but there's lots of room for improvement. 7/10
not my style, but for what it is, its great 8.5/10
oldie but goldie(kinda) 8/10
i really like the simplicity of this one 9/10
really nice clock widget, but needs more style consistency throughout the pages. Also, how did you make a gif wallpaper?
both would be good... a year ago. these are quite overused styles, but other than that, these are quite well made. 8/10
was this made w klwp? I like it a lot. 9/10
Its a good start! Keep working on it. 8.5/10
Too cluttered, nothing in it matches, and it looks like a mess. Atleast switch back to stock, or try again.
Im kinda suprised by how well the colored icons fit with the rest of the pale gray setup. 8.5/10
Not too great, but could be worse. 8.2/10
Again, overused style. 7.5/10
Does anyone know of a nice looking brightness slider widget?
Currently have a black&white theme going with white transparency widgets if that helps.
Pretty much want a version of the notification one but white and no border.
Unless it's possible to make in kwgt or zooper.
Zooper widget or kwgt?
I'm new into ricing and been using zooper pro so far.
Haven't tried kwgt yet but seen some of you post about it.
Can someone with experience with both programs tell me the pros and cons of both of them?
Literally just changed my homescreen. Can't find a good background
Notification badges look bad
I think I saw this on irc
This is cool but that one window is way too long
Can't you just long press and remove the icons inside app drawer
This is nice
I like this
Don't know what to think about this desu
Haven't been active for a while but recently came up with this.
>in b4: reddit/10
It's Apex. I'm changing all the icons to fit the theme now. Thanks for the tip.
Sorry about the low quality pic, it always ends up looking that shitty regardless of which method I used to screencap it.
I like it a lot, it has style, I'm not a fan of black and white wallpapers like those but that's just my personal opinion. I still think it looks cool. 8/10. By the way what is the name of that font? It looks beautiful
Cool idea, poor execution
Nice. Wish it had a tad bit more colour though
Does your life revolve around 4chan man...?'
Very smooth and unique
I actually really like this
I like it, but add a shadow to the Time text
Just put this together, and if you're wondering where the apps are, I assigned gestures. rate pls
No thanks desu
6, could be a bit more colorful, it kinda feels a bit too empty
8, I'm lovin it
7.5 really nice, its just that the icons seem too far apart
7, might need nicer icons
8, nothing to say about this
Flowers make the best wps
Clone of the OP but it's not bad. The clock is out of place, I suggest making another widget screen that has the clock and maybe battery info where the music details are on another screen so it looks like it's all contained in one widget
Nothing special and pointless webm, the battery widget doesn't fit with your theme. Change the pape or change the red accent color
I love the contrast with the text and the pape colors
I really like this. There's potential, you could make different pages with either a terminal music or info widget
Love the icon colors on this but the animations make it a bit inconsistent
Plain and shitty, I know. Rate me fellas.
its all command based, but I just made some aliases to play music, no dedicated music player required now ;)
My first real attempt
Well, mine is simple. Have no time to record a webm, so I'll just post some screenshots.
Icons are getting a bit lost.
Nice and simple, 7/10.
I've seen better Undertale rices, 4/10.
Try to change launcher, maybe.
Not really into it, but this one looks 7/10.
Try Glyphicons, or some other minimalistic white icons.
I would not recommend to use icons and text icons both.
Change your font to something not so rounded, 8/10.
Icons and font a bit big.
Remember this one. 10/10.
Is it some new memepreset? Music controls are weird.
Clock. Or a statusbar.
7/10, a bit empty.
Interesting, but make the edges less rounded.
Try to increase panels padding.
Not a huge fan but I can see how some can like it 6/10
Not a huge fan of your Homescreen or the new trend
Sleek and simple 8/10
Not the best but points for making font and icons match the sans picture. 6/10
Love that wallpaper I use it alot honestly 6.5/10 cause it's not very creative
Low res background and I'm not a huge fan of the font 4/10
Fonts match nicely with color scheme 8/10
For first time trying I'd expect you tojust use preset clock and icons, but next time mess with things make your own stuff
And this is mine r8 m8
Reposting my rice until I have the motivation to make a new one
maybe the will help :)
I added icons, here's more opinions
I really like the pape, but the command lines really grinding my gears
Seen it, but still pretty good
Design's not terrible, but it's covering the pape, which is terrible
Kind of bland, doesn't really fit
This one's better than the first
This is better than the revision
Average double clock
You're doing good to our hearts, anon
I can't tell if it's because of my screen but this whole setup looks blurry to me
The black icons don't work very well
Too much text. The text clashes with the wallpaper. It's noy very 'stylish' ever.
Very nice use of colours.
You should add a tiny bit of padding to the left side of the text.
I'm never a fan of #000 in wallpapers.
Not bad, the widget text overlaps with the wallpaper that makes it a big more clumsy to read.
Launcher, Photoshop, Zooper and maybe Tasker.
It's a recolouring of the most basic battery widget setup. It's very easy to make in Zooper and KLWP.
How do i make a gif functional on klwp like pic relared or this >>6464782
If you're going to copy, do it right. Your borders are off, you'll need to increase the size of your background rectangles and move them so that the borders are equal widths.
Not a fan of the font, I used terminus, but most monospace fonts with large widths should be fine.
Add another app and extend the frame down so that they exist on two lines, its sleeker.
How do I make a border with zooper for a pic frame like here in the middle? My borders are uneven when I try to make them
Here's my new rice, it's wip. Rate.
What is this? That circle thing looks too clunky, replace it with a clock widget. And remove the notification bar, those never look good.
The icons don't fit the pape, and you would probably want to know more about the battery.
It's alright, but the clock widget needs to be moved down more.
> but the clock widget needs to be moved down more.
It will be a lot free space on the top then.
That other one isn't mine, mine is here
Keep trying until it makes sense. If you can't figure out the basics yourself there's no point using it because you'll be begging for help at literally every step.
If you can't be bothered with it just stick with the normal stuff like adding zooper widgets to a photoshopped wallpaper.
Hi /wg/ I've not posted a new rice here in almost a year. I'd appreciate some feedback on the aesthetic of this thing I tossed together yesterday. I'm aware of the issues with the animations looking shit, I'll probably be improving them when i get round to it.
The webm is a bit laggy at first but that was the recorder, it runs smoothly all the time. I was originally planning a faux pop up menu thing but then decided it would take to long to get to the apps I want to use, that's why the cross is there, it was originally an arrow and it can be tapped to change the page.
It's a bit buggy. when you've placed it it'll open the widget settings. Don't back arrow out of it, just press home and it shouldn't delete itself instantly.
It may still delete itself, have fun with that. Once you've placed it successfully it'll be fine, though.
I'm >>6468959, rating now cause I didn't have time then.
Nice pape. Really cool and unique as compared to others. Not something I'd use but overall pretty nice.
Pretty nice. I like layouts/papes with a lot of contrast. I generally don't like #fff
I like the layout of the apps. Text is hard to read
Could look really nice with a clock.
Move the clock down slightly but not as down as in >>6470313
Repeating what I said above, I like papes with high contrast. The orange is hard to look at, a softer orange would be nice
Not a big fan of the font or the pape but the layout is nice
Very nice. Not much else to say
Now addressing the questions,
The clock is built into the wallpaper with KLWP and its stationary. The music player is just a widget on a new page. I would make the music player in KLWP too, but I'm still quite new and figuring things out.
Sorry but my phone battery is currently broken. So I can't use my phone right now. Its better to experiment and try things out yourself though
> The orange is hard to look at, a softer orange would be nice
If so, It starting looks like, you know...like shit.
Also, its look darker on the phone screen.
R8 mates ! also how to put gifs on KLWP ?
(the music text and icons disappear if I touch the painting)
Pretty nice 7/10 I don't like the background
8/10 the battery is too big I'm
9/10 loving the cross and the news page
What AR these icons ?
Icons are too big
To the latter, you could have less icons with swipe gestures (at least on Nova). Phone + Contacts, Camera + Gallery, Drawer + Settings. Or set home button to open drawer?
Clock doesn't match with the pape, could go higher up, and hide the status bar. But the clock is definitely nice with the right setup.
For starters, I think it'd be better if you made the number of icons per row consistent as well as the spacing between them.
Good shit, 9/10.
Though I'm not usually a fan of it, I wonder if this would look better with pixel icons and text.
I don't think I'd use it myself, but pretty nice to look at.
You chose a good icon pack at least.
Try some different fonts
Maybe go for something simpler, think about how much of that you really need (ie, the weather(?) That doesn't seem to even work)
Same goes for the icobs at the bottom, less is more
Doing a Pape with little to no open space is usually a bad ideas but not impossible. Some people would suggest cropping and framing it into a complimentary background (in this case a warm orangish yellow), if it was me though, I'd use the full image to scroll to the empty space on the other side of her head. But again, just experiment and see if this is how you want it.
No I'm implying that instead of building shapes and such for widget backgrounds and app area background, for example, in KLWP you can put them directly on the wallpaper in photoshop.
ill make it simpler, I draw my idea on paint, after fightint with kwgt for nearly 2 hours
I need a square widget consistent of the pic i want
Yeah that's an incredibly simple thing to set up. Just add shapes and resize them. You can add pre-built clock and weather widgets easily. Adding an image is also easy.
I don't really know what to say to help, KLWP offers all of those things by default. It's just a matter of adding them and resizing and repositioning them.
is it the same if i use kwgt or klwp? My main problem is with the image, not the shapes (which would be added in ps). The image widget is a rectangle, not a square and i cant resize the image or move it to show the parts i want
I will try again and see if it works, and post again, thanks in advance
I installed KWGT and had a play, its editor has the same functionality as KLWP
You can't reshape images within the widget editor itself. Instead add a square shape, go to FX and change its texture to Bitmap then select whatever image you want. You can then add a blank fill square behind it to act as a 'frame'. This would mean that if you wanted a new image in the frame you would only need to edit the bitmap in the texture settings for the square instead of adding a whole new image.
Bear in mind that i don't think you'll be able to edit the position of the image within the square so if you want a specific section of an image you'll need to crop it down to just that section. Also, I don't think you can make it cycle through images automatically I expect you'll have to manually change the texture.
