need some giant landscapes

I am seriously thinking about drawing these as a hobby. How does one start?

Most artists paint them with a tablet and Photoshop.

Gimp would also work.

Sai if you can get used to it. It's a bit dated though, so I prefer torrenting the revised 1.1 version.

Watch speed painting videos on youtube. Usually those types of people tend to have 10 min to 1 hour long tutorials, too. Definitely gets me out of artists block.


If you end up getting photoshop definitely take the time to download some brushes off some tumblrs or whatever. They're usually free and make a difference (to me at least).

If it's tilted like that, how can water flow out of it?

use your brain man, if the reservoir feeding it is being replenished then the water is pushed up from beneath by more water (the water level reaches the lip of the pipe)
