I'd like to use this, but images don't expand to the full body of the browser on hover. There's also issues loading the catalog, occasionally the header will read every thread title at once and layer them on top of one another. There's some margins set for .board and .body that aren't being used/redundant as well.

You also just have an image for your 4chan x settings, why don't you just export the json and upload it to git as "recommended settings" instead?

here's an example of how it images expand a bit more with the onee-chan setup i use, the header is so large on the side that it really detracts from a lot of space. if there was anyway the header actually did collapse/autohide then i'd consider working on it more.

I know it's because i'm just making all the .subject's fixed to the header bar but i'm not sure how to make it not do that on the main board page...

I've had several bugs in my first installation that were already reported several times on the forums.

I've installed it twice using the minimal iso with no problems, but I tried again one more time with the live iso and I had problems.
