ITT: Shitty Sequels
Da fuck, there's a 2?
I loved the first one even though in retrospect it was kinda bad. Driving and Light Gun sessions were the best.

>in retrospect it was kinda bad
No it's one of the best ps1 games actually
>>2966320
It was above average at best. I consider DHWAV to be proof that we could've had a full-3D GTA game on the PSX
>>2966326
Driver 2 was more like a 3D GTA than die hard
>>2966305
Does it still do the three different games concept like the first one?
>>2966669
Yes, and they're all shit. Worse yet is that they don't have their separate game mode, they're all connected in one long story.
>>2966330
Driving portions on Driver 2 are awesome, but everything you have to do on foot is clunky and not so satisfying (even though I always have a chuckle with the animations, but only because they're so bad). Urban Chaos reminds me more a GTA game than Drivier.

Is NES DD3 worth a try?
The first game wasn't anything too special but the sequel was just pure shit

Played this in my childhood back in ~1996, but you are welcome to keep on making baseless assumptions.

If you want Contra on the PS1, try out Apocalypse or One.

To be fair, it's a bit tougher than the first two NES games, but it's not really a bad game at all. You only start with one life and the two boss characters who join you are essentially the only extra lives you get. Just spam the cyclone spin kick on mooks and save your nunchucks and iron claw on bosses and you'll do fine.
