None that I know of. Anyway, the script was heavily reworked in localization so the subtitles wouldn't make any sense in an undub, and I doubt there's much interest in re-translating the game.

If my memory works, the other thread about popful games defined the term Popful as games with a cute [and maybe to an extend, sexy] female protag that made it to the west in their original form [As in, they didn't got graphically altered to cater the western audience, see puyo puyo and panel de pon localized counterparts]

Magical Chase could be considered a Popful game, as its a shoot em up with a cutesy art-style and the protag is a young witch apprentice [Pic related] and it made it to the west in the Turbo-grafx 16

Uhh, that isn't exactly true. Touhou didn't invented Danmaku and i am pretty sure it didn't mastered it, CAVE was probably the only ones who maintained the genre alive in the 7th gen, at least in japan until they gave up.
The genre wasn't Destroyed, it just got stale on all ends [Regular shoot em ups were too easy or clones/bad successors (Otomedius) from other games, danmaku eventually scaled up to this shit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQZuidKexBQ and AAA studios won't even bother with this genre]

Well, technically its still a popful game, just that the term [again, as far as i remember from the last thread] could be defined more on games that made it to the west, like Popful Mail did. It could still apply to japanese games of course.
