I also like the final part as well, it's all frantic and shit.

I don't like Dancing Mad, I find it to be kind of boring

The whole thing feels very OCD, which isn't necessarily bad but it's really the wrong kind of crazy for the character in question

or maybe it's not, but I feel as though it lacks brutality and spontaneity, there needs to be an element of dread or tyranny or indignance

I guess because the war is already lost here and you're just fighting because it's the only thing left, but even then, it's just not something I want to listen to as -music- you know? it's really a one time track for me now, if I haven't just played through the game I don't want to hear it

It's certainly grandiose and ostentatious, but there's no climax. I feel like it lacks a real impact. For some reason the energy is too low and it does not rouse the passions and the blood does not quite begin to flow. This does not fit for a man who typically has so much uncontrollable passion swirling in his head that he literally cannot contain his impulses and had to slice apart the continents with a giant laser just to vent. It's really not the song of a psychotic murderer.

I'm going to have to go with the third phase. It's more godlike than the rest, I find.
It's so very hard to choose as I love all the transitions.

If anything, now that I think about it, Atma Weapon matches Kefka thematically more than his own theme actually does, it would have worked great as a theme for him during a major mid-game boss fight (which Atma Weapon is anyway), then rearranged more bombastically for the end.

I think the Narshe theme is tops though, I could slot that on my playlist forever and ever, a lot of the tracks in this game are fantastic.
