That build is the latest I can find on emucr. It's about 21 days old. You can build a newer one with their source codo.
And keep in mind this is all work in progress shit. Yabause is a good code base, but it has moderate game compatibility. This is the first person to actually improve the code for years.

will do, cheers

The sound is totally fucked up and the screen resolution is wrong. There's a reason why it cuts off so early from getting ingame, it would make it too obvious that all the sound effects are awful.
Still not up to par with versions of SSF from 2006.

And SSF needs CD mounting programs. It has a terrible GUI. It's closed source and Windows only.

Do those things change the fact that its the most compatible saturn emulator? nope

Yabause itself could use proper mounting of multiple image files. I tried playing Shinrei Jusatsushi Taromaru but couldn't get it to load because it's divided by audio files.
That said where this guy's build works it does show improvements. Guardian Heroes in particular no longer crashes on the second level, although it still requires you to have the framelimiter enabled on the main menu and certain moments in the game, otherwise the music goes way too fast.

And it's also better than yabause.
