Hi /vr/ did any of you play this game? It's the best Turn Based Strategy game i've ever played.
No. Good luck in your search for others who have played it.
I tried this a few weeks ago and couldn't figure out how to spawn any creatures. I swear I pressed every button and went through every menu and couldn't come up with anything.

I've never played it, but I've heard of it because it supposedly inspired the (non-/vr/) Battle for Wesnoth.

Played this. Pretty simplistic, imo, but some fun were had. You might want to try Warsong (Der Langrisser) series and Brigandine.
yes I did, it's daisenkryaku with a fantasy theme, not much else to say about it

>simplistic
I beg to differ. This game actually more tactically complex than Warsong.

In gameplay terms, yeah, but I probably misworded. I meant in the sense that it felt like a one-off board game.
I like it. A long time ago, my family would rent it all the time and play it together. I sometimes play it alone on my computer now, but it's not as fun.
I hate the Meteor spell. Send all your strong units to the enemy, and there's a chance you'll randomly lose a few every turn because he casts Meteor.
There seems to be a lot more games in this series in Japan. I wonder if they're actually any good.

Used to play this a lot as a kid with my brother. I also played the PS1 version a little, but couldn't get into it as much.

Downloading now.
Just wanted to add this, since it also lets you battle with monsters and is entirely playable without knowning Japanese, since it's in English.
