>Why pink hair?
To provide the player with a strong visual anchor. There's a lot of greens and browns in the game, with brown hair as seen in the official artwork the player character would blend in too much. With pink hair it is easily trackable even with peripheral vision.
because if his hair was brown he would be a brown bunny and that's too normal
blonde? you ever seen a blonde bunny?
yep. pink is the only choice after all.
Oh Dobson. He seems to think that the American Mario and Zelda cartoon series were canon.
This is the best argument I've seen other than "the devs just wanted it that way"
I wish they had kept it in the official art and Link Between Worlds, I think pink hair is cool as fuck personally. I'd love to see more differences in Links throughout the generations. I love this artist's take on them:
Because Link's a sexy little bitch.
That's not proving a dang thing. Are you deluded enough to think tv tropes is an actual authority on anything?
>heh, why you wearin' pink, fag?
>y-you just haven't read te-tevee tropays have you?
>t-t-t-twat? that shirt make you stutter or is that just you?
>I'M A REAL MA-voice break-AAAAN
Didn't the french wear red to identify themselves as commies?
>trying this hard to prove your masculinity on the internet
Get out beta.
How many fucking times do we need to have this thread? Dear sweet mother of fuck do we need to get the sticky updated to 6th gen and GBA. This place is becoming unbearable.
Because pink looks good on green?
Back then graphic design was pleasing your eye rather than "MUH REALISM"
I like pink. Link should be cute, not manly. He's only 10 or so after all. Also Zelda 1 was too hard. If you didn't have Nintendo Power, you weren't finishing it. You needed outside help.
No, you fuck off with your "I played the game by myself blindfolded and beat it in 45 seconds" lying. You needed Nintendo Power or somebody else who read Nintendo Power to beat Zelda I.
