There is actually a simple formula for this:

If Capcom = true:
Games = recycled

Think about it. Mega Man, Street Fighter, RE, etc.

For a long time Capcom did nothing but remake the same few titles over and over with slight differences.

Except PAL-only games with NTSC 60 hz patches are objectively superior.

I'm actually playing Sam & Max Hit the Road right now. It's a lot of fun so far. Currently trying to figure out the Tunnel of Love. got a flashlight and a blacklight bulb from the office, trying to figure out how to interact with that circuit breaker

My favorite LucasArts game is Full Throttle.

I've heard both I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream and DreamWeb are pretty good. I always wanted to play the Discworld games, based on the nice cover art, but have no idea on quality.

Grandia has a third playstation exclusive dungeon that's accessible through the desert, I don't think even gamefaqs has that one covered.

You can skip the majority of Opera House in Tomb Raider 2 with a few jumps as soon as you enter the building proper. You can also skip a large chunk of Temple of Xian due to a slope near the gold dragon near the start.

And the detonation key in Lv3? It's not needed, you can just climb up. And the two gates you have to open in Venice? Git gud with the boat and you can completely ignore that part.

I didn't discover it, but just found out about the 4-2 "wrong warp" in SMB a couple months ago and was pretty impressed

You're meant to grab onto the small guys when Greedy does the black hole attack. I've never had him not drop enemies to grab on to.

Also his "telefrag" is avoided by running to the left and when he goes off-screen, counter by doing an up-right grab and smashing him as he reappears. Takes practice but easy to do consistently once you get the timing down.

Of course, he is the final boss, he's supposed to be hard.

This never happens.
Git gud.

The last boss is not hard at all once you learn what to do. The only thing that's bad about it is it fits the Sonic Team model of being several orders of magnitude harder than the rest of the game.

If you're fast enough you can even grab the boss out of the one-shot lightning.

Also, the music is the best.

You can still play those 80's video games.
