Thoughts? Anyone wanna help, or was he a dumbass to trust USPS?

>was he a dumbass to trust USPS?
Holy fuck, yes.
USPS is basically another branch of federal welfare nowadays. Half their employees are fat, black women, who give zero fucks about their job and wish you would fuck off from the counter so they can get back to gossiping. Several of my packages just "disappeared" en route while two others arrived at their destinations with nothing in them but packing shit (it wasn't eBay or anything, these were to people I already knew).
If you're sending anything of value, use FedEx.
>USPS
USPS is fucking garbage, and its employees, like most people who work for the federal government, are either braindead morons or blacks who steal shit from packages.
I wish Trump would just fucking dissolve USPS.

>PAL set
ANd nothing of value was lost.
I know this thread's probably been done a hundred times, but fuck it. Is there anything good on this thing besides Sonic CD? I don't really wanna get one and give my Genesis a tumor, but I'm not opposed to emulating some of the good games, if there are any.
Final Fight CD
Snatcher
Lunar 1 & 2
Eternal Champions CD
Shining Force CD
Rise of the Dragon
Popful Mail
>>3812052
Genesis 2 with the CD model 2 and a 32X on top looks like pure sex. Then again I'm a sucker for add ons.
Terminator
Lords of Thunder and some other SHMUPs
Popful Mail
Snatcher and Rise of the Dragon
Dark Wizard
Definitive version of Ecco
Games the world hates/ignores but you think are the 'Dog's bollocks
Brunswick World Tournament of Champions for SNES
How do I Git Gud at Splatterhouse?
practice
>>3811057
His monster gf is hard though. Slide kick is also tricky to do sometimes.
How come there weren't any good games made of the best retro cartoon?
I know, right? A generic platformer would have been perfectly acceptable. Instead they made Escort Mission: The Game.
>>3810471
But there was, Anon.
>>3810471
Shit game, shit thread, sage.
Remember me?

Oh look it's that theme that you only ever heard a maximum of 10 seconds of because you were in such a hurry to pick a game to play
Hard Mode:Explain why you picked these games.
>>3810320
Ergheiz(Dungeon Mode)
Vagrant Story
Chrono Trigger/Cross
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Breath of Fire I-IV and probably V
>inb4 not retro. I know.
The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
I just want a good adventure experience and some RPGs to play too. Also, I want to find a better way to kill time in my math/CS department's computer lab than spending it on /pol/ and /k/ after studying. Plus, from the constant BoF threads we have once in a while and the /vr/ wiki, I figured it would be nice to try out some lesser known retro Square RPGs

Forgot pic
Honestly, it would be too much work. If I'm too lazy to play the games, I'm too lazy to show you all the games I'm too lazy to play.
Why did the 99.6462% of american games for the genesis had such awful music? why couldn't they into FM synthesis at all? even european games had used the soundchip much better than them on average
>>3810035
americans cant program custom sound drivers apparently
>>3810035
I dunno blame GEMS? Everybody else does.
A lot of games that were made for the Genesis in america were made on something like middleware. It also came with a default music programer. Since FM synth is actually hard to patch/program over samples and waveforms.
A new version of Donkey Kong built from scratch. Adds gameplay elements/characters from the Super Mario games, and removes the fall damage. Will work on PC, or can also be loaded into a MAME cabinet.

My anti-virus won't even let this shit through.
>removes the fall damage
just stick to pac-man...

>letting computer software tell you what you can and cannot do
Man up, son. Show that shitty software who's boss.No really, disable that shit. Manual scans of dodgy looking shit is all you'll ever need.
It seems like every collector has been deal hunting for at least a solid decade. Is starting a collection at this point even worth it? Assuming you are starting with (or very nearly with) nothing.
>>3808406
Collecting is for autists.
Get the games you truly like
You're not gonna play 1/6 of them
>>3808406
try flea markets
otherwise, rest in piss
Sure it's worth it. Start with PS2
I know I'm really late to this one. I never owned an N64 growing up. For some reason, I've never really gone back through its library, preferring the PSX and Saturn.
Well, I finally finished Super Mario 64. I'm probably reiterating decades of praise, but this is really one of the most remarkable games I've ever played. Mario still controls beautifully. The amount of care and thought put into each of the courses is astonishing. The game is a triumph of design and imagination.
It's probably easy to criticize parts of this game just because they were so new at the time, but I went into this game without any pretenses. The camera isn't perfect, and not every course is flawless (Dire Dire Docks is a bit of a stinker), but those things seem like such nitpicking considering that this game came out in 1996.
Since it's so easy to talk about how influential/innovative/etc. this game is, what is some weird shit that most people wouldn't know about the game?
>>3808265
It's the only good game on the N64. Quit now.
>>3808265
>what is some weird shit that most people wouldn't know about the game?
Swim around that star statue in the back courtyard 64 times to unlock Luigi.
>>3808265
Good for you.
The 64 library is incredible, you should keep going through it.
Was he right? Is story really that important?
This goes against everything I understand about Nintendo per /v/.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpM0S8kWsRw
Of course! It just can't substitute for gameplay
Story gives context to the actions of the protagonist. That's how you should think of it. The plot of the game is why you're taking your protagonist from place to place and through the various ordeals they end up facing.
>>3806761
I thought Shiggy hated stories in vidya. That's why he stripped so much from Sticker Star.
>Mega Man X on a Sega Genesis
Imagine the two colors allowed per screen on that piece of shit port
really makes me think
>>3799694
Would be good for Genesisfags since they're used to play shitty ports with fucked up colors.
Earthworm Jim on the SNES gives me a giggle m8
>I've gotten to the prison in bg2 at least 20 times, but never finished the game because I always lose interest at that point.
>>3798068
>Saw pic related somewhere as a kid.
>Fucking loved Goldeneye
>Spend countless hours looking for the weird rifle that can shoot off limbs (guy rolling)
>Get gameshark, still no such gun
>Beat the game every which way, still no gun
>Find out years later that it was the beta AK-47
REEEEEEEEE-
>>3798085
looks better than the pencil.
>Got to the crater in FFVII
>Get bored and never play the game again
Out of all the Final Fantasy games I've played FFVI and VII are the ones I dropped out of being bored of them.
Struggling to load up Sega CD roms without .cue files on my mac, still new to this, any help?
Look up for rips that have bins and cues. It may look like a hassle, but trust me, bins and cues are the "best" way to emulate CD-based systems. ISOs may look better to the uninformed, but create a lot of problems.
>>3808868
isos will usually not have the redbook or cd audio. I don't know if .cue files store the data about the cd track locations or not...
>>3808868
Yea that's what I'm thinking, still looking for a Popful Mail one. Thanks!
