wtf
turns out infune isn't the creator of mega man?!
>>3815816
If he takes a DNA test, will you cease making these threads?
He never was and never claimed to be. He explains in the artbooks that his first job was designing a couple of robot masters and all the regular enemies in MM1 and got in charge of the games starting from 3.
Media just calls him father/creator of Mega Man because it's easier to understand to refer to the person that's been in charge of the franchise most of the time.
>>3815831
>and got in charge of the games starting from 3.
Producer for MM2-7 was Fujiwara. And Inafune never directed them either. So Inafune's full of it.
>that's been in charge of the franchise most of the time.
First game Inafune was producer for was 1996's Mega man 8. It's also kind of a shitty game (and the only time Hayato Kaji directed anything). That's 9 years, from 1987 to 1996 where the series was ran by different directors and producers. He was producer for many (but not all) MM games past that. But it's confusing to call the guy who was a producer and artist for many of the games "the father" or the demonstrably false "series creator".
What did you think of it? Favourite OST track?
Simply one of my personal bests that came on PS1. Best track, I'd say Overflowing Emotions, with Sunny Day a close second.
>>3812612
Love it. My favorite is Laugh & Peace.
>>3812612
It's good but it's pretty simple so there isn't much to say about it. Laugh & Peace is best track.
Lo-lo-look at you, Hacker. A pa-pa-pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you ru-run through my corridors-s. H-h-how can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine
the many are far creepier
but I always thought hiveminds, and being absorbed by them, to be the worst thing ever (the oil monster from phantoms also comes to mind)
>>3811170
>perfect machine
>stutters more than me
Ha!
>>3811170
>panting and sweating as you ru-run through my corridors-s
Why does this sound so lewd?
How would you rate/rank Rare's N64 platformers?
Good but sparse. Great stories tho
>>3810578
Conker > Kazooie > Tooie > DK64
>>3810587
Tooie sucked, dk64 was definitely better.
Opinions on Mode 7? love it, hate it? did it hampered or improved games? (let's ignore that F-Zero/Pilotwings/SMK exist for the sake of discussion and talk about games that used it occasionally)
It's just a quasi-3d gimmick. It signaled Nintendo's aspiration to go fully 3D but everybody knew that was where gaming was going anyway.
Most people seem to think that Mode 7 is only for that background effect on your pic, but it's mostly used for sprite rotation and scalation.
And yeah, sprite rotation and scalation is cool.

>Most people seem to think that Mode 7 is only for that background effect on your pic, but it's mostly used for sprite rotation and scalation.
Funny you mention that, why do you think the background in your pic is black?
>this game is better than Rondo of blood

Protip: It isn't
Is this the easiest solution to repair worn off cartridges?
What are you suggesting exactly?
>>3816502
that the circuits gets ruined by use on the console, so rather than use conductive paint and risk ruining the PCB, just tape some copper adhesive to the circuit.
>>3816494
You need to get the shit that's conductive on both sides to make this work. Even then, it might survive a few times, but I bet the teeth on the connector would pull the tape off and probably get jammed inside the slot.
Maybe if you made like a cartridge condom, kinda like the passthroughs found in Gyromite, could you make this solution last. Then again your cartidge would stick out, and on the original DMG that means the game won't fit.
Another solution is to replace the PCB outright. You could easily map a board out, draw it up in Eagle, and have a board house make you a good number of boards for a hundred dollars. The price seems steep, but the quantity you'd need would be tiny.
Lastly, you could get extreme and do photolithography to make your own board. It would be cheaper than a boardhouse, perhaps, but you'd have to buy some FR4 covered in photoresist, a UV light, and chemicals to etch the copper off. It's messy, but doable.
So what is her name actually supposed to be?
Liez?
Riez?
Liisu? Riisu? R'lyehsu?
Also, Seiken Densetsu 3 thread.
I think it is リース.
I want to do penis-related activities with Riesz.
1st for game is more fun planning party setups than actually playing the game.
which one was the best one?
>imo 2
>>3812018
1 or 2 are both valid answers.
1 had the best platforming levels, 3 had the best bosses and I liked the majority of the gimmick levels in 3 (the only ones I disliked were the underwater ones) and the time trials
2 was just kinda there for me
>>3812148
i also liked the little timetwister messages for the levels
>People were confused just because it wasn't linear like the other dungeons
???
No, underwater levels suck in 98% of video games.
>>3808684
And waiting to sink / float just got annoying the first time doing a lot of exploration
>>3808695
>being a "water levels are bad" meme faggot
Did you like this game?
Yes.
I still like it, too.
i like sega sonic.
No
I think this is one of the worst games I've ever played, and this come from someone who loves the genesis sonic games
Let's have a Gradius thread. I just finished the SNES port of Gradius 3 (first of the series for me), any recommendations as to what to play next?
thunderforce, just so you can see how it's done
>>3817795
Gradius Collection for psp. It includes original arcade versions from 1 to 4 with adjustable difficulty if you're used to (easy) difficulty of snes port. Gradius Gaiden is also included on this collection. After all those play Gradius 5 on ps2.
There's also Salamander Collection on psp, which includes both Salamanders (including Life Force -varitation of first one) and Konami's attempt to make a R-Type clone, Xexex.
>>3817795
>playing the casual version of Gradius III
Sega>Nec>SNK>Atari>Commodore>Nintendo>Playstation>Microsoft
In what way?
If sega is the best then why did they ultimately fail in the console market?
Nintendo=Sega>NEC>Atari>Playstation>Commodore>Microsoft
Could she handleGTA III?
>>3816759
Only if designed from the ground up.
She definitely can't handle a direct PS2 port.
>>3816759
Fairly sure GTAIII runs alright on a TNT2 and the Dreamcast's GPU is comparable.
>>3816931
One could always just go all the way with that thought and fire it up with a Neon250!
*blocks your path*

Block That, you fuckin' lout.
You bohemian twat!
