I'm trying to find a game that I used to play for ps1, The cover had a black pickup truck with yellow racing stripes, and the first level was you racing near a beach on a time trail in said truck. I've tried google and looking through ps1 racing games but I can't find it, can anyone help?

Gotta be. AKA Runabout.
>When finished, this mod will completely remove Cait Sith from the game in favour of a new human character called Iscar Matthias. Iscar is from Judus Iscariot, and Matthias was the apostle chosen to replace him. I have chosen these names to be symbolic of the character's betrayal, and change into a valued ally. Iscar will change and grow as a character. At first he will be a simple Shin-Ra spy, dedicated to his job, but over time, he will come to understand that he is working for the wrong people and change sides.
>Cait Sith is a poorly written character that was probably shoe horned into the story late in development. The character has no logical or believable reason to join your party, or be allowed to join it. The idea that Reeve, a top executive for Shin-Ra, could or would remote control a toy robot cat mounted on top of a stuffed white toy as a tool for espionage, is ridiculous.
>Iscar will change the character model, script, FMV and battle related information. Cait will be utterly annihilated. Where possible I will stick to the original script. The basic plot will remain intact, except that it will be more plausible. I have actually had fanboys trying to rationalise the writing regarding Cait Sith. These people generally display an unbelievably poor understanding of fiction and writing (the usual excuse being "It's just fiction" *roll eyes*).
>Cait's going no matter WHAT you say.

I remember this autism.
Fanfiction at its finest.
A world of magic, clones, selective memory, talking cats with flaming tails, rocket ships and steam punk tech and a remote controlled robot is the thing he obsesses over.
>>3871309
>steam punk
Not steam punk in the slightest. It's not Victorian, or steam powered.
It's clearly analogous to nuclear power and follows an anime cyberpunk look ala Akira.
>>3871309
FF6 was steampunk and 7 was cyberpunk.
What's the easiest inexpensive way of starting the Game Boy Interface 240p Homebrew from a Gamecube nowadays?

XenoGC modchip and burned mini DVD-R.
What I'd really like to get my hands on though is a Wiikey Fusion/WASP Fusion

I'm guessing I need a soldering Iron? is it a hard mod?
>>3871256
It's litterally placing the chip on the GC-board and adding a few solder-points.
no cables, nada.
but you could have googled that info!
bootleg games thread
That's not even a retro bootleg, faggot.

Decided to sell all my old games to make some (hopefully) quick cash. Is ebay the best choice? I don't know anywhere else that might be better.
If it makes any difference, they're all UK pal games and nearly all boxed with instructions/inserts etc. NES, SNES, MD, GBA...
Pic related- it's some of them.
Cheers in advance for any help or ideas.
Forgot to ask- Where can I find out if anything I've got is rare or worth more than the rest?
Thanks!

I'm playing through War For The Overworld right now, so I figured I'd start a thread about one of my favorite games - DK1.
So far, my rankings are: DK1 > WFTO > DK2
DK1 just had a special sauce to it. Cozy mechanics like creatures rivalries. Making sure nobody disturbs Warlocks in your library. Great creatures designs like the Dragons or Bile Demons. Just had an amazing atmosphere to it.
DK2 is so disappointing it's not even funny.
DK1 = Startopia > WFTO > DK2

i love dungeon keeper. i wish theyd port more retro shit to phones.
Why couldn't Toad just pick up the axe and chop the bridge down?
>>3868438
Because then Mario couldn't cross the bridge and continue his adventure.
>>3868681
Couldn't he just use the Warp Zones instead?

Not if he's already in a castle. There's no backtracking.
Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread: Emulator Edition
I'll start:
Dual Screens and Emulation: How do I drag this shit onto my TV?
I have a PC hooked up to a monitor and a TV, the TV is my monitor's extension.
When I drag an emulator onto the TV and try to play it there, it opens up on the monitor. How the fuck can I get it to play on my second screen? Google doesn't give me an answer, just people not figuring it out. What the fuck do you do, /vr/?
i just connect my pc to the tv and forget my monitor.
Fullscreen is a mess when you're using multiple screens. Some games and emulators let you choose which screen to fullscreen to, but if they don't then you'll just have to set your TV as primary monitor each time you want to use it for games.
If all else fails, just set the TV as the only monitor, duh.

Does anyone know of a way to transfer your killboard from Secret Missions 2's end to Wing Commander 2 proper? It's not really anything but a vanity idea, but dammit, I earned those hundreds of kills!
KOF 99 museum -- not the biggest fan of the game, but the stages are the best in the series
KOF 99 park 1/3
KOF 99 park 2/3
KOF 99 park 3/3
Is this the ultimate hidden gem?
Just go back to [insert website beginning with R because our system thinks your post is spam], please.

Nah. i like it but it has some pretty big flaws and little replayability.
It's a proto-SaGa wannabe that's considerably overrated by hipsters. The fact that it was never released outside of Japan is some indication.
Christ. This has to be the largest fully 3D world I've ever seen in a retro game. (Maybe excluding Elder Scrolls, which I think had infinite randomly generated environments or something. Plus Elder Scrolls wasn't fully 3D; I believe the NPCs consisted of 2D sprites.)
Just when I thought I had made my way through at least 2/3 of this game, the plot introduced several new regions that can only be teleported to once a key item is obtained, and of course those regions are populated with large dungeons.
I'm curious if there are any other retro games that have similarly expansive and completely 3D worlds. It seems that most RPGs in the fifth-generation preferred to use 3D character models on flat, prerendered backgrounds. It's pretty impressive that games like King's Field existed back then.
Something I noticed, however, is that the game world is only ostensibly interlinked with no loading / transition between areas, but the game actually masks load times by having you walk down very long corridors when you're transitioning from one area to the next.
>>3866318
Shadow Tower is obvious, though the entire game is one gigantic hostile dungeon.
I'm actually having trouble thinking of one that isn't segmented up into stages and stuff now that you mention it. Threads of Fate and Brave Fencer Musashi might count, though both have short bits where you fast travel with vehicles and teleporters for some levels that aren't built into the main map.
EQ?

>I'm actually having trouble thinking of one that isn't segmented up into stages
Possibly Soul Reaver, but I've never finished that game, so I can't comment on the sheer size of the game world.
Crusaders of Might and Magic is fully 3D and has some considerable depth to explore, but I don't think it's anywhere near the size of the King's Field games. Although some areas are kind of interlinked, there's a castle that acts as a main hub, and once you complete objectives in some areas, I don't believe you can ever travel back to them.
Starting with the grandmother.

Ms PacMan
Though I personally prefer Alisa Dragoon
is it weird that i respect her to much to sexualize her?
i'd buy her a drink
Dumping what I have, feel free to contribute if you have any.
Post some of that glorious high tech low life.
ShadowRun. But not the shitty Sega version.
>>3853682
Are you kidding? Genesis version was great. It felt more sandboxy than the SNES version and the freelancer elements of the game were fantastic. If you liked being a decker you could repeatedly jack in to randomly generated data nodes whenever you liked to do matrix runs and steal data to sell.
