Anyone interested in exploring worlds? Its basically an obscure 3d chat room from the 90s that has a strangely nostalgic early internet feel to it.

The website for the download: worlds.com

It needs java 6 to run, a good download for it is http://users.worldsonline.com/users/jimbly/java/index.htm

If you have an AMD card: "Disable your display adapter by going to Device Manager then Display Adapter. If you disable it, the screen will become small but you will be able to load Worlds. Make sure to enable it once you log onto Worlds so you can play it in fullscreen."

Would be cool to maybe explore it with /vr/. Maybe tomorrow I'll try running it.

Does someone have the story about the guy who lived his life on Worlds.com and completely sheltered himself from real life? I can't find it but I would be grateful if someone had it to share.

Love hearing about shit like this, if anyone has a link pls share. Was it like an article or a website or something?

/vr/ ain't your personal review site. Why don't you just fucking Google some reviews for yourself?
>>

Do you own the original? Have you played it? Did you enjoy it enough to buy it again?

Figure out the basic questions anon, then work from there.

No because SJWs or something

You first, OP. Do you actually have something to contribute by posting this thread, or do you expect other anons to do all the work for you?

Recently finished the GBA remake of #1 after setting up my retropie. Not bad alltogether, but not a great remake in the atmospheric sense.

I would really like to play the GBA version of the game but man do those overworld sprites look ugly. And the card system sounds confusing too.

I do like how the secret outfits now have sprites in-battle but the art style just isn't as good as the original I feel.

Damn, this looks like a very interesting mod.
According to them it's going to work on the original N64.
It will include 12 new characters, 8 new stages and 25 new items.

Are you going to support them?

Do you guys find yourself replaying some of the same games over and over?

Yep. It really prevents me from digging to my backlog. And I keep buying modern games only to go back to playing my old standbys for the thousandth time.

has anyone had any luck running an NTSC SNES in australia?
i have a pal system now but i want to upgrade because pal is absolute garbage

need info on power supply stuff i have no idea about

Just get a new compatible power supply. I run my AV Famicom on 230v without any need for those bulky step-down converters.

I would totally have a Super Famicom and not that lavender piece of shit though. I've heard you can convert a PAL SNES to output PAL60 too.
>>
>>3907361
>>3907376
This one oughta do it. https://www.retrosales.com.au/products/nintendo-famicom-power-supply-adapter-pack-super-famicom-disk-jr-new-au-plug
Both the Super Famicom and the NTSC SNES uses the same type of input, but the PAL SNES uses a different one, so you can't use an original Australian PSU.
>>
>>3907380
Just noticed that it says that it isn't compatible with the US SNES, use this. https://www.retrosales.com.au/products/super-nintendo-power-supply-adapter-cable-for-american-us-snes-virtual-boy-psu

Every display is slightly different, plus colors can be manually configured even further on most displays. It's meaningless to obsess over as long as they're generally correct.

I didn't think people still played on there since the remix came out. Is the netcode better than it used to be? I haven't played 3s in 5+ years.

Also, does it still need adobe air to run?
