Were PC gamers edgelords back in the days like nowadays? I can't remember PC gaming really being a thing, since I always had home consoles just like my friends.

Nowadays, PC gaming is seen as "superior" and PC gamers call themselves the "master race". I've never seen anything like this in the past.

A plebbitor just found a disc with the original source code to starcraft and gave it back to blizzard for some cheap made in china shit, overwatch, and le up boats. Gone forever.

I have recently rediscovered the Tomb Raider series and started playing the first game on Saturn. It's the first time as an adult that I get to play a Lara-Croft game. As a 12 or 13-year-old teenager, I wasn't quite aware of anything else in the game except for Lara's quite feminine characteristics that, unfortunately, overrode any other thought-out concept the game offers. After getting over the hard time being a 90's teenager, living through the glorious digital revolution of the internet and becoming sensitized to female curves, I discovered more than just a pair of tits and naked tighs in the game. What popular media and video game platforms advertised back then in the 1990s, was a game for randy rams craving for naked skin, like a pixelated VHS porn that you paid a shit ton of money on in the 90s. On the contary, puzzles in the game are quite elaborate and I have found that I am having a hard time to find all the secrets. It's a perfect action-adventure that requests both brains and dexterity. All in all the game deserved the hype it had, but I'm afraid it would not have been quite as succesful, If you had replaced Lara Croft with an Indiana-Jones-like male character. I would have tried it anyway.

I'm sorry for my ignorance, while quite probably being the only one here that hasn't ever finished the game, and my subsequent audacity to post superfluous questions that I quite frankly hope will not remain unanswered or result in a shitstorm against the clueless.

Just looking for some opinions/feedback on Retrons. Want to clear up some of my battletstation room by replacing a couple/few systems with a 'all in one' device.

When people recommend using a Genesis model 1 adapter on an NES producing wavy lines, do they mean it has to be an OEM Sega adapter? What about the cheap aftermarket 3 in 1s? They also output 10v dc. I'm hoping to try this cheap fix before begging the PCB nerd at work for help soldering and stuff.

I tried to pick up the cigarette the wrong way and there was like a 1 second window to do it so now I am on Wednesday with absolutely nothing else to do (besides showing the cigarette to SID like a guide says) am I fucked? It is a Sierra game so I think I'm soft locked but I don't wanna do that all over again.
