Most things on nes or snes. Jrpgs got longer around fifth gen as people were getting sick of shorter games. If you tried to release games that were only an hour or two in the third or forth gen no one cared, around fifth gen it became looked down upon for a game to be that short.

Is there a quick and dirty way to further enhance the visual quality of FF7 for PC? Mainly talking about the 2012 rerelease, I can run the game at 4k, but the engine filtering still pretty much sucks all around which is to be expected I suppose.
I could manually enhance all the in game textures right? How would I go about doing that? I'd need to rip the textures with something, and inject them back in right?

I need help kinding a NES game that I have not played in 24 years.
it was like a platformer, I only remember this 3 things.
-there was a sort of overworld map before starting the scenario
-that scenario was like this scary old place with a sacary background, maybe an old castle
-after going forward you reach a lake and a stone platform floating on it, if you jumo to the stone you get like glued to it, if you jump to the water theres enemies in the bottom.
I always died or got stuck so I never went further than that.

I particularly think RPGs are the best genre to play in the streets or work because it doesn't requires a intense input/visual contact and the touchscreen is not that much of a problem.
What're some RPGs that you would consider viable/fun to play on the go? Preferably PS1 and lower.Maybe some GBA/DS stuff too?

Any that you like on console will be better played portable when you don't have to give it your full attention. So just look at RPG lists and pick something that looks interesting to you.
