Do prebuilt arcade machines with these type of things in them just use emulators? This is a Pandora 645-in-1 JAMMA Game Board. Or is it just like a flashcart that runs on original hardware?

Don't really know much about arcade hardware and was thinking about getting a little arcade setup.

>>
Yeah they're emulators running on ARM Cortex CPUs
>>
>>4093498
But are they decent emulators and do they have an acceptable amount of input lag?
>>
>>4093517
"Decent" and "Acceptable" are pretty subjective. Lag is quite low since input is direct, there's little to no OS overhead and output is in native mode. On the other hand, the accuracy of the emulation itself is often not great.

The first bubsy isn't terrible, just mediocre. The second is pretty awful, and we all know how the third turned out.

His TV show never got past the pilot episode, and the controls generally weren't as good as other platformers from the same era.

Didn't have as much plot as Tomba 2 but still pretty good

What do you guys think of System Shock 2? I'm about to play it for the first time and was wondering if you had any tips? I've heard it can be fairly unforgiving if you make bad choices.

Try not to waste your bullets and save skill points for when you need them. Think of it as less a FPS or even an RPG than a game of resource management.

Planescape is just infinity engine and plays like the other D&D infinity engine games. Just because combat is the worst part of the game doesn't mean that it's awful or anything.

Everyone shits on this game, but when it came out I played it so much my dad would teese me with "Where are you going? going to update your journal?" I think he thought that was a funny euphemism for jerking off

You mean like Heian era or even older stuff like Yayoi or Zyômon?

Maybe Tengai Makyô is old enough.

Sorry for my poor english
Cosmology of Kyoto is from Heian era, but I'm looking for any era at all as long as it's before 1980 Japan. So if you have multiple favorites from different eras, feel free to post any. I'm not picky and always have trouble distinguishing eras, I just love old old japan feel, no matter how old

>Atari Greatest Hits, Vol 1 and 2 (Tempest, Asteroids etc)
>Mario 64
>Konami Arcade Hits (Gradius, Contra, etc)
>Namco Museum (Pac-man, Galaga etc)
>Sonic 1-3
>Dragon Quest (are these ok?)
>remakes of: Space Invaders, Dig Dug, Arkanoid...

anything else? and what can it accurately emulate?

As far as I remember, the story didn't make much sense and maybe the japanese script is better.

Still I liked the creepy atmosphere and dat gore.

Metal Warriors was inspired by Cybernator, also Gun Hazard but that one has too much rpg shit for my tastes. On genesis there is Target Earth but it's kinda clunky, and Leynos 2 on the saturn.
The best spiritual sequel is probably Gigantic Army anyway, but not retro.

This is the only track from Mario Kart 64 that has yet to return as a retro track. What did you think of this track?

I always liked knocking people off the ramp near the end.
24 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Love it, probably on my top 5 tracks in the game.
It also has that wall you can jump over.
And I guess I also like it because I'm a Wario fanboy, it cracks me up to see all these spammed Wario faces all throughout the track, it's as Wario as it gets. But I also genuinely like the track design. I think it shares the music with some other stages so that's a downer, but the music chosen works well.
>>
Did it not?
