Hey fags, I'm doing my first ever playthrough of this game and I'm kicking its ass. I'm on the sand level now and I've only seen one game over screen so far (got a game over once on the casino level). Am I awesome or is this just an easy game?
anyway what an amazing game, loving the absolute shit out of it and having lots of fun. great momentum based gameplay, super fluid, amazing graphics and great soundtrack. I think this is my favourite track so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94lAXpejBcw
I know MJ was supposed to do the soundtrack of this game but that didn't work out, however I still hear a strong influence. game's got an immensely awesome banging '90s vibe.
is this considered to be the best sonic game? what is? general sonic thread if you like.

It's fairly easy. There aren't too many deathtrap levels. Have fun in act 2 of sand though. That one can be a mess.
And yeah, many think combined 3+K is the best. It better be though because you had to pay full price for both when they came out.

Even though the first game is my favorite I can agree with people saying 3k is the best. You know it when the little details like the continuity between the levels and the remixed songs on second acts got attention.
You might want to replay it with Knuckles later.

I coming straight out of from Genesis SF2 and I can't get my head wrap around what the fuck am I looking at here, what happened to SF2 roster? The gameplay's really enjoyable but why does it forces you to play defensively?

Anyone know if you can trade pokemon from a cart that has a dead battery to one that doesn't?
I know the game has to save before trading, so will this stop the trade?

I'm in the process of getting boxes and cover art for my loose games, and I've hit a bit of a snag with PlayStation games. Every site I come across only has covers in the dimensions for DVD cases, but I want to stick with jewel cases.
Is there a good solution for this, or should I suck it up and use DVD cases? Also, feel free to use the thread as general collecting upkeep advice or whatever.

I have a dreamcast that is treating me very badly. It will play any number of scratched NBA or NFL 2k games. It boots CDs just fine. However when it comes to playing anything decent such as Sonic Adventure or Shenmue in non-scratched conditions it refuses to read the discs.
I've spent hours doing the laser calibration trick with no luck.
Any other suggestions to try out to fix this DC? It's like living with a shitty chad room mate who only wants to play madden all day.

Maybe you need to adjust the laser POT, this happened a lot with an old gamecube that had a modchip installed. After playing burned games it refused to read the original games for a couple hours.

I do like dungeon crawls with minimal story, assuming they're done well. King's Field games for PS1 were dank as fuck.
I also just started Daggerfall, though I haven't even made it out of the first dungeon yet.
