>SEGA didn't censor their games like those prudes at Ninten-
No kidding, I imported a copy of Bare Knuckle III because of this.
Fuck SoA.
>>4128225
I imported BKIII because SOR3 was like one of those shitty PoopMarioNazi fanhacks.
Nintendo would have replaced the character with a man.

Skate is better than Axel, but hard to use because he has odd hitboxes and almost no invincibility frames. But he has more fast and extremely high damage moves, and can throw in any direction.
Axel only has the back throw and the grand upper to do crowd control.

Shiva is the best tier, although he is broken by design.
No way, Adam and Skate were the best.

If you're talking about tier lists, this is objectively false.
I have a few meme CRT's that I want to store for a few years since I will be moving across the country for work. Are these things finicky on how they are stored? Can they just go in a shed where they will face cold winter temperatures of -20?
Yes. That sounds like a good idea. It's well known that electronics love extreme temperatures and fluxuating conditions.
The how would one store a crt for a period of a few years practically
>>4151439
In a tucked away corner of a lived in space, where temperture is controled . The ideal situation is a guest room.
So I know next to nothing about monitors/pvms
They look like nice little crts to me.
Due to not having space, I think it would be nice to get one.
Looking for awhile, I finally found a guy selling some. Which model should I get? Thanks for all your help in advance I love you guys
I have a PVM-14N6U, 14N2U, 14N5U, 1351Q, and 14L1. I have. I also have a Ikegami TM14-17RZ which looks really nice. The screen has a slight burn-in but it is 100% unnoticeable while displaying a picture. You can only see it when the display is powered off. I have a JVC TM-H150CG that I think needs a recap. There is some subtle color streaking. I have a random Panasonic and another random JVC, both 14", that only do s-video. Can't remember the model #s off the top of my head. I'd let them go for relatively cheap. I also have a few VGA monitors, too. That's what I use them for anyway. I'm looking for $165 for the 14N6U. $150 for the 14N2U. $110 for the 1351Q (display needs some adjustment - I haven't really used it much). $60 for the 14N5U. $60 for all three of the 14L2s (really nice monitors, they have extra input card space). I also have two PVM-8054Qs and a PVM-8041Q. They are small but are in perfect condition They are capable of running on batteries, too. They do all the way up to RGB and component. I would let them go for $70 a piece. I kind of want to keep the 14L1 because it looks awesome and has like no hours on it whatsoever. It only does S-Video but it was my first PVM. I would let it go but I'd have to think about the price. It was literally never used once when I bought it. I'm not sure how to price the JVC TM-H150CG. It's very high-end. I think it just needs a little TLC and it could be a really amazing display. If you are interested in the VGA monitors I'd let them go for cheap ($20-$30). I may be willing to negotiate the prices if you want to buy more than one or if you have something to trade. Let me know which ones you are thinking about and I can send pics. Thanks!
>>4151301
Focus, which one you want the most.
>>4151397
Whatever is the best one. And again I have no clue as to the quality of what he has listed. Thanks tho!
>>4151421
The JVC 150 probably but I don't recognize more than three of them.
New to this board, so please don't hate if I am doing something wrong; I recently caved after enjoying fallout new vegas some much.
I purchased fallout 1 fallout 2 and tactics for $5. 1 was easy, but two is so hard. Anyone have any tips for either fallout 2 or tactics?
>>4150993
what problem are you having with 2? did you install the restoration patch? that mod games the game harder by pumping up the difficulty in random encounters. Where are you right now?
>>4151009
makes the game*
>>4150993
For bigger fights that aren't started the monent you are sighted, reverse pickpocketing explosives on the strongest enemy is a great way to start the encounter. Especially in close quarters you'll often take out several enemies with a cheap timed explosive.
It's a slightly OP scrub tactic, but it can make cleaning out raider bases a cinch even for a weak ass stealth character.
I've been playing this game for the first time in years. Love it so far but I'm on the fifth level or so and the only weapons I have so far are the default pistols. Have I fucked up by not finding the shotgun or the magnum?
I think you get the shotgun on the level with dinosaurs, but my memory is fuzzy
>>4150748
If you missed them, is there any chance of getting another shotgun?
>>4150751
don't know
Looking for good games to emulate on smart phones, specifically games that are playable with shitty touchscreen controls. Any recommendations?
>>4150701
Anything turn based
>>4150704
Yep langrisser II it's translated.
Also if you have bad luck like and you are stuck with touch screen, hockey games work beautiful in it.
You feel like you are in ice.
Here's a recommendation, get a BT controller.
Or play some touchscreen only DS games.
Do you remember, that you darth vader the shit kicked out ?
>>4150476
FUCK VS WHORE
Yeah i remember that
>vader fighting fist to fist with arden lyn

>>4150152
Does the gamecube count?
Hexen 2 is obscure enough but Heretic 2 gets mentioned even less, pretty weird considering that the original Heretic has always been more popular than Hexen.
I didnt like how you spent half the game having elf AIDS, and the music gave me anxiety for some reason, but it it was pretty memorable, it had a cool dismemberment system, and using the tome of power to boost your spells is just as fun as the original.
Kinda wish I could play in a modern system and get the goddam music to work properly, its the only reason I havent replayed it much over the years
>Games only you care about
That's regional.
Here in my country/state/city, people only care about GTA V, Counter-Strike, FIFA and Call of Duty (newer ones).
I'm the odd one for liking Age of Empires 2, Civilization series, AI War, id-tech 1 games (Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Strife, Chex etc), Artemis SBS.

Worst platforming game you have attempted to play?
Pic related. Horrible controls and well, jumping felt too tight which I can't stand in platforming games. On top of this, this game somehow got many ports... You can adjust to loose controls after a while. Super Mario Land 1 comes to mind.
You can also name a platforming game you think is underrated.
Felix the Cat (NES) - It's a really easy game if you play through it normally. I usually end with 30+ lives without even trying to collect lives but it's everything mechanically a pure platforming game short feel like. You can also make up your own challenges to make the game tougher and join a site like Retro Achievements who has devs that do that for you. My only gripes with the game is there are times when you can't see what is above you but you quickly adjust to this and the canoeing/dolphin levels seem to loop too long.
>>4150027
I never got passed the first level of this game.
But not because of the controls, I never figured how to paint some items.
>>4150164
Not all items are literally painted. For example one item is the bowling alley sign, which you turn on by firing a rocket at it.
I've played a lot of terrible ones. Pic related is the worst I can remember off the top of my head.
The people who say "Sonic was never good" need to get some perspective.
Would this be considered a classic if Sega of America hadn't butchered it?
>>4149958
Nah, SoR3 may be worse than BK3, but BK3 is still not a great game and miles behind 2.
>>4149981
>but BK3 is still not a great game and miles behind 2.
prove it without resorting to "muh soundtrack".
>>4149992
Bad enemy placements and level design, poor AI, poor graphics, and you cannot hit off-screen enemies unless at least some parts of them show on the screen.
You just run, jump kick, run jump kick, and you can beat the game on very hard.
for some crazy reason out of the blue my mum has got into playing video games I gave her my jailbroke psp and I am right now filling it with the sort of stuff she enjoys like puzzle games platformers which are brightly coloured and not too difficult, so considering a psp can perfectly emulate psx nes gameboy and Gamegear games what would everyone recommend I put on it.
