If you can get the .pkm files from the gen3 game save (using pokegen or something) then PkHex should be able to read them, but I dunno if it can make them look like they went through the Pal Park and another 2 PokeTransporters.

Just started using jk's save manager, and I can only give it positive reviews.
Very simple to use and gives the name of the save's game/app and not those damn numbers that SaveDataFiler made me use.
Bonus points for using the touch-screen too.

Also your 3DS could have any date set so dates can't determine legitimacy.

The date can be any day you want, this doesn't affect legality since you can set your 3DS to the year [2045] and catch [anything] and it would still be legit when you fix the date.

browserhax can be fixed at any time without you updating, but MenuHax will work UNTIL you update, so if you already have it then you still have access even after browserHax is removed.
Since IronHax was fixed the only 'permanent' hax access is through CFW, OoT or Cubic Ninja.

The O3DS browserHax is less stable since 10.4, so make sure and get another entry point ASAP.

Alright here's the thing. I have a old regular 3ds that still in 9.9.0 with no Nintendo ID attached. I got myself a new3ds a while back so it started collecting dust till I gained interest in this. I bought a sd reader. Problem is that apparently nintendo fucked a lot of options with people with 9.9.0 apparently and the remaining choices are out of my range since it requires purchasing a rare game/app and some shit.

So telling by this. Should I just update it right now and it will go to 10.5 that eligible? Then use the same method to use browserhax and install menuhax? This 3ds will purely be used for homebrew, Pkhex, and possibly a few pirated games. So I'm not concerned of any risks.

I haven't touched my powersaves since I got homebrew, but since homebrew is having issues lately; what the hell is up with Powersaves prime? You can pay to have early access to codes? What kind of jew shit is this?

That guy is also me, and that problem is only for 9.9 to 10.4, so if you are fully updated to 10.5 then it should work.
If you are on an old 3DS then you should 'Initialize savedata' before trying each time (delete the cookies and history).
Also, since 10.4 was released, an old 3DS will fail at the orange screen far more frequently than before, so if you ever do get it to work, then make sure to install MenuHax or OoT/Ninja-Hax.

So I wanted to try out PHBank since my Bank subscription is about to expire and I went to pull all my mons out of Bank, but it told me I needed to update. For some reason though it only updated to 10.4 instead of 10.5, and after the update viewing the home menu with an SD card inserted makes the 3DS freeze on a black screen. The only way around it is to remove the SD card and reinsert it after starting the 3DS (and then I'm forced to restart every time I need to go back to the home menu).

I updated again to 10.5 and it didn't fix the problem. I can still use Browserhax just fine but it won't let me reinstall Menuhax (not that I'd be able to use it if I did, since I can't start the system with an SD card inserted without it freezing). Does anyone have any idea what the fuck is going on and how to fix it?

No problem. I know your pain because believe or not, the 9.2 browserhax (aka sliderhax) is way more unstable than 10.3 browserhax. Idk about 10.5 one, but I can't imagine it being worse than sliderhax.

On clearing cookies, you can instead use initialize save data, I think it's better, but it'll clear all your shit so only use it if clearing cookies don't work (who uses the 3DS browser anyway?).

And the color theme thing is necessary just once. That's because browserhax only works if your home menu theme data is 100% clean. Changing to a color and then to blank theme guarantees it's clean.

And I assume you're using the latest menuhax installer right? Smea's current starter kit should have it, it was updated 12 days ago.

Also, I would totally download browserhax myself, but I don't have a SD reader for my computer And I'm afraid it might brick my 2ds? I don't know if that is a risk with injection, but I don't have money to buy another

PKHeX can import all mons from the replay by dragging the replay file into it, provided it is decrypted. As for how to get them decrypted you'll need some way extract the extdata. You can use this tool https://gbatemp.net/threads/378492/ or if you have CFW, absolutely use JK's one from >>25167748

It was also kinda inconvenient with having to decrypt every slot indidually, but at least has the advantage of not messing with homebrew so it'll stay working when Nintendo blocks everything.

On a side note, being able to see through your opponent's team shows how hilarious badly hacked some of them are, especially on special competitions. In less than 5 battles on Enter the Fug I ran into some faggot with an AS shiny Kyogre, idk how this shit even passes the hack check.

Yeah. They can't block the hax itself, so they played dirty and added a new functionality to the Home Menu that prevents certain titles from being launched (see http://3dbrew.org/wiki/APT:IsTitleAllowed , it's down right now though). Right now both Ironfall 1.0 and 1.1 are blocked.

Pretty much. Menuhax and Browserhax still work. Though unless you want buy CN or OoT, you're pretty much on Nintendo's hands now, and they'll likely patch menuhax pretty soon like they did before.

It won't brick your 2DS. All homebrew (with a very small group of exceptions) runs in userland; in other words it has access to around about the same level of privilege as a normal 3DS game. It can't actually access any commands which might brick your DS. Injection tools like the various save managers and PCHex are all userland homebrew. The only way you'll risk bricking is doing something that writes to the NAND dangerously and currently all that does that is SysUpdater and its kin which is used for downgrading, and even then those homebrew programs can only gain ARM11 kernel access on 10.3 and below.

You can use permamegas too. A team I've used before was:

Use browserHax to get into the Homebrew menu and then use the OoThax installer.
If you are on an O3DS then you're in for a wild ride since browserHax on O3DS is very unreliable.
Remember to "initialise savedata" (dekete cookies and history) before each attempt!

I'm new to PKHeX, being pretty out of touch with the Pokemon hacking community and having used Pokesav with a DS flash cart for a while now. This QR code is for a Raikou which I legitimately had on my actual SoulSilver cart, but created clones and a .pkm file with Pokesav. I transferred one clone to my copy of Y the "legitimate" way: going from SoulSilver to Black 2 to the Pokemon Bank to Y and it worked without a hitch. I was able to get it on GTS and trade for an Entei. Once I discovered PKHeX, I used it with the .pkm file to generate the QR Code. It works for injecting the Pokemon, but I can't trade it through GTS, Wonder Trade, or even through random people on PSS. Can someone figure out what the GTS is detecting that won't let me trade?

I figured it could have been something regarding the .pkm file going through PKHeX, but I did the exact same process with a Groudon .pkm and I've been able to successfully trade it 3 times.
