Heatran I agree with, spdef heatran can take any hit pretty comfortably (barring something stupid like specs dark pulse or douse drive techno blast)
Also quag does decently against standard ice/fire/electric/u-turn coverage on paper, ignoring download boosts and not taking super effective damage from any of the bug's moves
Also, gene is actually walled by things that are stupidly bulky. Think M-Sab, Pory2, Mega Venu, and the Blobs. They all fare decently to well against gene.

The only one that reliably checks is Porygon but even the best it can do is chip it at with Tbolt after paralyzing it, cuz it's a 3hko anyway. Blobs die if it's physical because it can easily run reliable physical sets.

This thing has insane coverage, insane typing, stupidly good offenses, and an ability to destroy anything that isn't super bulky (and even some of those get fucked, if it gets the right Download boost). Must have been a nightmare to play this thing when it was still legal lmao

It was. Genesect isn't really THAT strong, fast or bulky, it was just insanely hard to tag and reel in because it had a hard hitting U-Turn and just the right attacks to hit what it needs to.
