It's at its most annoying if the thing gets implied with a preview, only for the the interruption to delay the event beyond the next installment or two. I can actually bear with it if the event happens for real later in that installment.

Thankfully, Pokémon hasn't done this with these two (until this coming episode), and even here it looks like they're probably going to do it by the end of the episode, in which case I'll forgive it. It just reminds me a little bit too much of the bullshit for the time being.
