>literally every over confident normie casual you know will be playing this shit all day and will wonder why they lost to your 6iv fully ev trained flawless mons when they challenge you
how will it feel?
>You play pokemon too?
>Which versions you play?
>Uh...I played Blue, Shuffle and...Go!
Some nerdy girl caught me playing Emerald on my laptop, she didn't even say Ruby or Sapphire. She said, "Is that Pokémon Emerald?"
"I played that all the time when I was a kid!"
"That's real cool." Then she left awkwardly. I felt real bad
The company making it has a good record, so it could be good. If they have more than just gen1, it'll probably be at least decent, because that means that they want to appeal to us, too.
We love variety, everyone should have their waifu.
>>literally every over confident normie casual you know will be playing this shit all day
That means every sane normie plays Ingress right now right? RIGHT?!
NO. Most people dont even know what Ingress is. The same will be with Pokemon GO. It might be popular with Pokemon fans. It might even gets quite a few people to become a Pokemon fan. But seriosuly dont expect GO to be some revolutionary shit that will bring back the late 90s/early 00s Pokemania back (or even make it bigger). Its just another smartphone game.
With how expensive it is looking you are best off just getting ahold of your wife and settling down
I kinda think 151 early on would be a plus with newer Pokemon being added later.
I hope there will be migrations so that you can get all 151 Pokemon without going too far.
I feel bad for New Zealanders and tourists who will go to New Zealand since they have to deal with pic related
To be fair, they have not shown any other Pokémon in ads
>Yeah, that's really cool. So you played it a lot then?
Insert response about childhood here. If she doesn't add much more to the topic, or say anything different topic for you to latch on to, follow up with more Pokemon talk.
>Yeah, I loved doing/fighting/using ___ in this game a kid too. Do you still keep up with the series?
>Nice, so what do you think about ___?
>What do you think they will do next?
>What do you want them to add?
>Oh that's a shame, they've really added a lot of cool stuff in the last few games. They're all 3D now!
>Well, did you hear about GO?
>Were you into anything else as a kid?
Come on Anon, I refuse to believe you can be THAT bad at talking to human beings when you're this good at shitposting
It would be easier to set things up with only 151 to work with. Also, the original 151 is what their target audience (the 20 somethings that started with RBY and now have phones/traveling ability) would remember best.
Personally, I find it refreshing being able to start over without all these crazy matchups. Especially since Pokemon are a bit more balanced now so it won't just be the Alakazam show, I'm already trying to think of viable teams to shoot for once GO lands. Think of it as another challenge.
There was already a girl sitting in front of me, it was one of those little tables in the college hallway
She had just left her class maybe she was in a hurry, and I didn't think of those questions I was not caught up on pokemon news at the time, why would she even make the distinction of when she was a kid, I was in the middle of a conversation already, there were many factors
Like I said I felt bad, I cannot think of things right on the spot.
I don't want 151 Pokémon only.
That is boring.
I like all Pokémon, including the new ones. I don't want 151 Pokémon only.
other Pokémon exist too.
Anon, my top 5 Pokemon are Charizard, Sneasel, Emolga, Gardevoir(No waifu), and Scrafty. Loving every gen means that you can take any one of them individually and still enjoy the experience.
I'm pretty sure that they'll add all pokemon. The developers already said that there will be Pokemon that are locked to certain environments around the world, like actual animal distributions around the world.
