Why is Audino the only Gen 5 Pokémon to have a Mega?

The fact it was a shitmon chansey clone that nevertheless proved popular essentially guaranteed it either a mega or an evolution to make it stand out and get more mileage out of it now that its debut is past.

Can you imagine the reaction if GameFreak really did announce that new next new games were Gen 5 remakes? Not Sinnoh, not Kanto, not Z, not even BW 3, but Black and White remakes. It'd be great.

Making a Blissey-like evolution for Audino was super easy, so it was a really handy pokemon to slap a Mega onto. Pure gamefreak laziness.
