Being a Garchompfag is suffering
by "fly" I think they just meant that it can move very very fast, and the anime creators are just idiots
No, they mean actual flight
>When it folds up its body and extends its wings, it looks like a jet plane. It flies at sonic speed.
>It flies at speeds equal to a jet fighter plane. It never allows its prey to escape.
It's meant to look like a jet plane
>Pokédex literally says Garchomp flies at high speed, and Garchomp is shown flying in other media
>Idiots in this thread still saying that Garchomp can't fly
its probably more akin to gliding than taking off from the ground and transporting people to other places. the move fly seems to grant some sort of special properties, an npc in one of the g5 games mentions that it even allows small pokemon to carry you around
the hms in general dont make much sense, why would a fish need to learn surf to swim across water i'm pretty sure it already knows how to swim. what is it about HM03 specifically that allows a pokemon to carry a trainer on its back?
maybe im just being autistic about it. gameplay mechanics that don't have a reasonable explanation bother me
