Chikorita is a cute, but which of its evo lines is better, Bayleef or Meganium?
>Feel free to use facts to back up your point
They are all shit I would rather pick "literally a yellow human " over those pieces of shit.
I always thought Bayleef was overrated. The "leaf necklace" doesn't look great, and it's the ugliest color of the three. Meganium is a cool dinosaur with a flower around its neck, and that's fine by me.
Typhlosion had the worst design of the three fully evolved starters, which is a shame because of the three starters Cyndaquil was the best looking.
But OP, Bayleef has a better design than Meganium (Thanks Nicobay for making shit art of it)
Maybe is because Meganium loses her forehead leaf and the flower alone makes her to look like a dinosaur with a flower on its neck. (Replacing the leaf with an antennae was a bad decision)
Also the best ASS!
"Three horns never play with long necks."
I really tried using Chikorita line, I really did it's probably my most under leveled starter, as I liked everyone else on my teams and they were usable.... Terrible stats and Movepool, wants to be a wall, but doesn't have sleep powder or leech seed or good stab moves outside of razor leaf in gen 2
>alligator with a coat of blue
What more do you want? It's a fucking ALLIGATOR. And it's BLUE!
Show me another biped alligator with spikes on its back.
Are you literally retarded?
>What more do you want?
A design that isn't lazy for one
>Ugh we can't come up with a way to make this Pokémon appealing. Let's just tack spikes on it to make it look more edgy and menacing! That definitely requires a lot of effort!
>Show me another biped alligator with spikes on its back
So Feraligatr is lazy because it has spikes when your dear Samurott not only has spikes but has nothing indicating it's a biped swordmaster except for flavor text?
Point taken though to be fair Gen V makes an awful lot of "callbacks" to earlier designs.
Bayleef is cute, while Meganium feels like it's past its prime.
I'm not who you're arguing with, but the shift from Dewott to Samurott is pretty extreme. It abandons its thin bipedal dual wielding warrior appearance and becomes a slow looking, heavy quadripedal animal that could probably be Torterra's lost cousin.
>>not liking a samurai sea lion with giant ass swords
That's actually my problem; why isn't it standing on two legs and holding swords like a badass?
Doesn't even look like it can with its body being based on something that can only move effectively by swimming.
Exactly. The same series that had shown Gothitelle with stubby legs had also shown Samurott standing on two legs just fine and using the things on its forelegs as weapons.
Made me curious and watched it.
This is terrible. How does this look fine to you? Also she mostly -landed- on her legs (and only for a split second) instead of battling standing up.
