On an objective viewpoint, Lucario does not look like a pokemon, or is a legit pokemon. Rather, Lucario is a digimon that has been awkwardly shoehorned into Pokemon. This is easy to tell by the randomly slapped on design decisions reminiscent of digimon designs.

Though people may agree on OP's choice of edge to describe them, he's actually 100% correct. Lucario is a digimon reject that has shockingly been transplanted into Pokemon, hence why the use of edge is for once legit in this case.
