She's not super competitive, so honestly something that could actually win pick up battles with randoms online would probably make her super happy. I've probably got about a week to work on the actual breeding myself before she notices I have her game. I would probably say anything from OU down.

Just pick some bros. Or pick ones you have not used yet. Mono type it up. Mono color it up.
Hard to give advice. But yea don't over think it apart from having HM slots available.

I'm looking at Sabeleye-M, Bisharp, and Weavile so far. I'm thinking of Umbreon and Gengar to play to the "my favorites" list. Still looking to try to round the team out (I know I can't give it perfect coverage but I'm trying to do the best to shore up weaknesses.)

Maybe Greninja. Technically a dark type, but with STAB on all its coverage moves.

Also, the way the team is now could probably use more ghost-types. Gengar is always a good choice. Mismagius is a qt. M-Bannete is surprisingly fun to mess around with, but Sableye is probably a better option. Umbreon is a fun bulkmon. Eviolite Dusclops can be really bulky too.

My favorite HM slave in ORAS is Linoone. I typically pair it with a tentacrule. I put fly on a bird I caught early and then upgrade to Tropius when I want to start breeding/iv training.
