This. Maybe if it were released alongside a New 2DS (which conceptually would still be about as stupid a name as New 3DS) I might bite as a cheaper way to access New 3DS titles, but even then there's nothing released as of yet to justify such a purchase.

I'm sure collectors will cream their pants for these, though, so if you do want one you'd better pre-order or otherwise get to it ASAP.
